I love this place, it is interactive and full of creative and educational fun! As a parent I have a blast everytime I take my children there. We go early and stay most of the day. There are eateries very close by and other fun things to do. The price is very reasonable or you can always buy a year pass, and go as much as you want.
They moved years ago and built a spectacular building. Then for funding reasons closed, they recently re-opened...the first exhibit was very weird and not to my liking at all,,,teapots and eyeballs. Yuck. Hopefully the exhibits will improve.
This is one of Seattles free museums. It is well worth the visit. It is very old and has some beautiful pieces on permanent display, then lots of exhibits that are constantly changing.
This is a great store, you can spend hours in here perusing the great books, DVD's etc...The staff is reallly friendly and helpful. They constantly have lots of new things, so you never know what you will find. It is like a giant treasure hunt at great prices!
This bookstore, Christian, has a very extensive supply of books, CD's, and anything else you need. Cards,. artwork, etc..Staff is helpful and friendly.
This store is small, but full of lots of wonderful items. They order anything you need and do it promptly and then call to tell you when it arrives. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great place to shop!!
I was a faithful co-op member, then took a part-time job there. Ended up being discriminated against by an all male night supervisory crew, who harrassed me and treated me to anti-semetic behavior. Two of the supervisors were gay and loved to leave their movies on so I could "view" them. Had a lawsuit with them and settled out of court. There were 3 women all together who filled this class action against PCC for discrimination. Will never shop this location again.
Have had mixed feelings about this place. We lived in the area and on several occassions took our dog there. They are nice people, but on one occassion I felt one of the staff people mislead us and left a bad taste in my mouth. Other times service was good.
I do an art show here every winter. It is a newer school and well maintained. The school is known for its academic achievements. The students work as volunteers at the art show and help all the artists set up, bringing refreshments etc...this to me is a strong indication of the values being taught at the school. I would recommend this school!
This school is very old and needs to be torn down and rebuilt. The students who attend here come from primarily wealthy families. I was shocked when we first moved here and my daughter attended the school. They need to use some of the money to build a new school. Academically, it is a very renowned school for their high standard of education.
