If you've visited one, then this is no different. Large selection of books in all genres. The staff is well-trained...it's hard to tell the rookies from the veterns and their coffee is top-notch, if a bit expensive.
PROS: Hey, it's Barnes and Noble
CONS: Overpriced coffee drinks.
The staff is friendly and can cut your hair to any style you like. Mine is usually short and cropped and they've never had a problem doing that. They go the little extra mile and take the time to style your hair if you want or show you how to do it a different way you might like. The only thing I hate is sometimes there's a wait because only 2-3 cutters are working.
PROS: Great stylists
CONS: Sometimes a wait
I recently used this place for my dogs and when I went to pick them up, they seemed sad to go. The staff are experts at dog care and really treated my dogs right. They allow to bring your own food and will accomodate 2 dogs from the same family in the same cage to curb lonliness. Prices were the best in town and for an extra couple of bucks, they'll take your dogs for 25 minute runs/walks.
PROS: Expert staff, cheap prices, superbly clean
I've taken my taxes here for the past 3 years. I don't have complicated forms, so I can just bring in my W-2s and they can go to work. Sometimes, the temps are not too friendly and inefficient and it seems like I stay longer then necessary, but they 've never made a mistake and will go over previous tax returns without complaint.
PROS: reliable, will check other returns
CONS: temp employees unfriendly
Interesting that you can pick up the latest copy of Jessica Simpson AND a bed set in the same store. Unfortunately, that's where the 'interest' stops. The employee was straight from Tennessee with Bib overalls and greasy hair. I thought I was in the movie "A Time To Kill". The bed sets were overpriced and I honestly would trust a store that had filthy record store in the back.
CONS: Dirty employee, dirty 2ndary store in the back.
I filled out all the correct paperwork for ANY position they had available, but didn't get back to me when they put an ad in the paper for exactly what I was over-qualified to do. They were still looking for someone, but said that they couldn't send me because I wasn't qualified enough. They couldn't tell me any specifics, but when I asked them to verify my address to ensure they had the correct resume, they hung up. Nice, eh? I wasn't the only person this happened to, so I know it was no fluke.
I have been going here since I had my Commodore 64. They were always able to repair it and I could find ample amounts of software and books for the C64. Now, their service hasn't changed, they are upbeat and able to repair anything. They are every knowledgeable about today's technology and can have a computer back to you quickly.
PROS: Small time frames, knowledgeable
CONS: Mainly deal in repair, not much to sell
I like going here because the employees are friendly and provide quick service and seem more knowledgeable of the store than other parts places. I have found any part I have needed for my car. From brake lines to tail light wiring harnesses, there have not been anything I couldn't get. The prices were decent, though I wouldn't buy oil or antifreeze from them.
PROS: Quick service, inexpensive
The employees were condescending and not concerned about the inflated prices of their auto parts when compared with competitors. They were the highest in town with amount ranging from $30 to $100 more than their competitors. Seek your late model parts somewhere else.
CONS: High prices, indifferent workers
