I came here past midnight once, and it was STILL crowded. Being in times square, it's not a surprise it was still open. The surprise was how many people were still shopping there. I love it still, however, cuz the employees in this one are so incredibly helpful and nice is gets a little scary. haha. Their selection is great and they even have clearance items!
In the middle of Herald Square, you would expect this place as busy as the first floor of Macy's - and it is. The prices are about the same as Macy's makeup/perfume section, but their sales people don't try and force the products on you as much as the Macy's people. Nor do they force you to make purchases either. They have fun in what they do and they love make up, so they'll just have fun by teaching you about the products and how to use them.
I don't use make-up, but i love this place. It's fun to pretend to be girly sometimes and just go in and have fun with your friends putting on random colors and stuff. Their perfume section's awesome for "taste-testing" and they have anything and everything imaginable in regards to beauty supplies. The prices are cheap, but they sell the top of the line stuff so you wouldn't expect them to be either. Would be great if they had sales and specials, but again, they're more of a middle-man retailer like make up sections in department stores.
But it's still a B&BW and i love them. Great products, great smells, great prices. Catch the sales and you'll be in good body hygiene heaven. I love stocking up on stuff for gifts during sales, it's great.
I mean, in a place like chinatown where there's a bakery on at least every side of each block and/or corner, you would think some of them would be clearly better than others. This one, isn't one of the better ones. The prices are reasonable but it's on the dirty end - and when i want something to drink and eat for even 5 minutes, i don't want to sit or stand somewhere that i feel like i'll get a disease from.
Even more cramped than a normal game store, but unlike most other game stores - the sales associates are horrible. They are not helpful at all and they really have no clue what they're talking about either. I get dragged there by my boyfriend and I even know more about the games than the people who work there. When you want to call the supervisor, you get the manager from hell who's even worse than his employees. Boycott this place for your own good.
There are a lot of organic, gourmet grocery stores in a city of wealth and the health-conscious, but I would much rather go to whole foods than this place. It isn't as clean as its main competitor, nor does it have as great a selection. That, and the prices are about the same or even a tad higher. But if it's closer to where you live, I guess it'll do just fine.
Busy like every other aero, not that big of a store, but they have a great stock of their merchandise, unlike some other aeros i've been to. The lines are long though, so beware.
This place has multiple floors and it's great. They seperate them according to age, youngest on the top floor with cribs and such, pre-teens in the mid-floors and toddlers on the first floor. I find it pretty easy to find anything and the people are really nice.
My entire wardrobe used to consist of aero products, but i've since immigrated to more sophisticated gear like gap and ae. However, if you're in a tight budget and you like cute graphic tees, this place is just right. This certain aero is pretty busy, but which one isn't? haha.
