One of the bigger Staples, with lots of space to shop and roam. Great selection and very helpful sales associates. Even the cashier was nice and helpful.
It's tiny and cramped and frankly, the overstocking of things about 20 feet high scares me to no end. Despite their cornucopia of boxes above your head, I still experienced trying to get markers there and not finding them on the racks.
It's huge and as such, their selection is awesome. A lot of the staples in the city can't fit desks and chairs, but this one can. So if you're looking for office furniture, this is the Staples to go to. And of course, if you're just looking for stationary - you should head here too!
This Staples is pretty big, compared to some other ones. But it's in the middle of union square so you would probably assume it's very busy - and it is. I don't like long lines when i'm just getting paper or pens - and everytime I've been to this one, I've had at least a 5 minute wait time, when I usually don't have to wait at all in some other Staples in Manhattan.
Fairly cramped and stuffy, I wouldn't prefer to go to this Staples. The service is good - if you can find someone to help you. They're stocked well, while their selection is moderately good. I usually judge Staples by their pen selection, and this one has the Pilot ballpoint pens i love, so it's good in my book.
I've been to about every Staples in the city and them some around the nation. This isn't at all on the top of my list. It's extremely cramped and I feel like boxes are gonna fall on me whenever I shop there from 20 feet high. The employees aren't that helpful - or easily found for that matter. The lines are longer than usual because it's one of only a few office/stationary stores in downtown. I would much rather go to one in midtown, where it's less cramped and with much less people.
Fast service, good food, reasonable prices. What's not to like? Of course, like all other chinese restaurants in chinatown, the bathroom isn't that clean, but what else would you expect from a high-traffic area like this? I eat here everyday for lunch, they know my name and are really nice.
PROS: good food, cheap, fast
CONS: dirty bathroom
I used to come here afterschool during elementary school, I don't go there that much anymore but if I want a cheap lunch that's typical 'americanized-chinese' food, this is the place to go too. It's fast and the service is great. Also, I love sitting at different tables each time so I can read the messages on the dollar bills on the walls if I'm bored.
PROS: cheap, good food
CONS: not extremely clean, dirty bathroom
I love the atmosphere in this place - the big spaces and the lights in the floors are awesome. Look out to Central Park at night and the whole place lights up in a nice glowing blue. The stores in the mall are the high-end expensive ones, so I go there to window shop basically - other than at Borders and Whole Foods, where I can actually afford something.
The only stores I really go to here are suncoast, express, kb toys and aeropostale. Other than that, there really isn't much there. The food court's really cool though, it has metallic tables and chairs and the walls are lighted up with tv's so it's a really nice atmostphere to have lunch. There's also seats around the fountain in the basement so you can just sit there and hang out for a bit - as long as you've bought something from the food court.
