As a whole, this academic environment is one of the best on the Island. If you don't believe me, look at percentages of graduating seniors, or the above-avearge results on State exams for the High School, Middle, and elementary schools alike. A truly involved community of students, teachers and parents working together help make this district a good choice in addition to the aforementioned "on paper" indications.
As a recent graduate of SUNY Brockport, I can't say enough good things about this college located in a small town alongside the Erie Canal. If you don't mind snow and brutal-at-times winters, consider this State University of School a good choice for becoming a physical education, elementary and / or adolescent school teacher. In addition to a lovely campus set on 350 acres, they offer many other majors to choose from, including: English, Biological Sciences, Dance / Theater, Arts for Children, Journalism, Criminal Justice, History, Health Sciene and a well-established Recreation and Leisure program. So, if you're looking for a good state school with many educational / athletic opportunities, consider SUNY Brockport.

If you prefer a pricey wine for a special occassion, check out the climate-controlled wine cellar towards the back of the store. Not sure what to get? Be sure to ask one of the many "professional" associates for help, that's what they're there for.
