Jernan's Cafe
Jernan's has moved into a bigger facility. Still the same great food and homemade ice cream that they've always had, but in a bigger setting. I love this new location it is in downtown and so much easier to get in and out of. If you haven't tried them, you need to stop in for some ice cream with the kids.
Gettel Toyota-Kia
We went in here for a test drive of a Kia, and having to park next to the Toyota building didn't realize that we were going into the wrong building. We asked the first person we saw if we could be directed to the rest room, and his response was here you go when your done we will sign you up, seeing a radio station on the grounds we figured they were talking about some kind of contest or something. We went over and sat down, and asked what we were signing up for, he said oh this is just to get you financed quicker, we told them we weren't there to buy, but they insisted on taking our information down. When we were down all the paperwork, we asked to please test drive a Kia, and we were told that we were in the wrong building and he proceeded to tear up all the paperwork and complain about us wasting his time. We went over to the next building the Kia dealership and were greeted on the lot by a very nice gentelman, that didn't insist we do any paperwork, and let us look around and test drive some nice vehicles without any pressure at all. I would say that the Toyota dealership should be taking some lessons from the Kia dealership right next door.

I had a very strange problem with my air conditioning unit. And when they came out they had a problem figuring it out, they tried a few different things to get the air to blow harder without having to take the unit apart. They climbed into the attic and figured out what was wrong, they had several great options for me and none of them were outrageously priced. I would highly recommend Inverness A/C & Heating for anyone that needs an honest A/C repairman.
Selby Botanical Gardens
You would never believe this is off a major road in the middle of a busy city. When you walk in the world goes quiet, and you can really start to think the world has stopped so you can travel through these amazing gardens in peace. I could spend hours looking at the different plants, I was amazed to see a Strawberry tree, and coffee bushes growing here in Florida. They have great places to sit and enjoy the pure quiet of the place, I especially enjoyed sitting next to the Koi pond. If you know anyone that loves orchids this is a great place to get some out of the greenhouse, or buy them some special gifts out of the Selby house.
Noreen's Deli
This is a great deli, they really support the neighborhood schools. They have some great subs, although the prices have almost doubled since I started going here. The place is always a little dirty but the food is great.
Quiznos
I have had many subs over the years, and I was really sceptical about trying something new. But, these are the best, I go here all the time when I'm in town. They make the sub asking you what you want on it, and then they put it on a tray and it rolls through the oven, this toasts the bread slightly, and melts the cheese, which makes the sub absolutely delicious.
Cedar Creek Grocery Surplus LLC
This is a great little grocery store, when you have forgotten something when you are in town this is where to go. They have a little bit of everything you could get in the big stores, just with less variety.
Parkcrest Health Food & H
I love this place, they have softserve tofutti ice cream, and when they have the peanut butter flavor I buy all I can get. They have a great variety of all kinds of health food products, and if you have a minute get a cone of that softserve while you are there.
Angelo's Pizzeria
If you are from up north and know what Stromboli is you will love this place. Their stuffed pizza is exactly like the stromboli I used to get when I lived in South New Jersey. It is wonderful, full of great meats. One piece is good for a whole meal.
Chelsea Title Co
This title company was wonderful during our home purchase. They arranged and took care of alot of the minor details, that we didn't even know we had to take care of. This place is great for first time home buyers, they even welcomed in my new born baby into the negotiation room.
