Tacoma Public Library
The Kobetich Library is a great library although a little small. The hours are pretty good, they are closed on
Sunday and Mondays. The staff is very nice too. They have small children's section, with a table, chairs and some wooden puzzles to keep little one busy while you look at their selection. You can keep books for 3 weeks and you can rent movies for free for 2 days. They also offer a summer reading program where kids can earn prizes and free tickets to the zoo for reading books.
pacific coast feather outlet
I love down bedding product which can be hard to find and very expensive. I was very exited when a friend Pacific Coast Feather Co. to me. They have a huge selection of down beddings and the quality is great too. You can't beat the prices, they cost about 50% less than at other places and the customer service is great too. They are very helpful and can help you find the right product.
Pacific General Medical Clinic
i had to go to the General Medical Clinics for an exam.
The wait until I was called in was fairly short. The lady who took down my information was a little rude, not just to me but to the gentleman behind me taking in his son for an illness. The nurses and the dr were pretty nice though and seemed to be working well together.
I got out of there pretty fast. Would I go back? Probably not, because I have other clinics closer to me.
Doan Andrea Dds - Evergreen Dental Care
I went to Evergreen Dental Care once for a check up and consultation. The receptionist was very friendly when I called to make the appointment and knew what to do with my strange insurance.. The office was very clean and organized. The assistant was very friendly too. The dentist was very honest and saved me a lot of money by telling me that my former dentist was wrong by recommending oral surgery and that there was nothing wrong with my tooth. I lost my insurance and haven't been able to go back.
Other Mothers Clothing
Other Mothers clothing is a really good consignment store. If you are looking for a bargain on children's clothes and baby equipment this is the place to go. Or you can drop of your used baby/children's clothes and make some extra cash.
Their stuff is in excellent condition and sometimes they have some really great sales. I have found some amazing deals there.
Teaching Toys & Books
If you are looking for unique learning toys and books you will love this store. They have wonderful toys you won't be able to find in a regular toy store. They are different from the regular toys and provide some educational value. They are very well made tool
My daughter loves their puzzles. They do ask for some of your personal information but you don't have to give it out if you don't feel comfortable doing it.
Northwest Costume
Are you looking for a costume? Then you need to stop at Northwest Costume and I am sure you will find what you were looking for. It is a smaller shop but the selection is huge. They carry many costumes in all sizes. You can also find make up,wigs,jewelery and dance wear. You can buy or rent the costumes there.
Janice's Critter Care
I took my dog there once because I had a really long day at work and received a coupon in the mail for the dog sitting service and thought I would give it a try.
The employees didn't seem to happy when we arrived and that should have been my first clue, but I really needed to go to work. The set up didn't seem too dog friendly and my dog was very happy to see me when I came to pick her up. From now on I'll rather leave her in the yard all day instead of taking her there.
Pediatrics Northwest PS
After our daughter was born we selected a pediatrician from Pediatrics Northwes PS. We saw several pediatricians while our daughter was in the hospital as a newborn and had some minor health problems. They were very quick with the exams and then explained everything to us. After our daughter was released from the hospital we took her to the office as we were told for a newborn check up and it was very easy to get an appointment and the staff was really nice.
Smith Brother's Farms
The Smith Brothers have been around for many years.Their dairy products taste so much better than the dairy products you can buy in the store.They also carry eggs,yogurts, butter, cheese and some other convenience items like cookie doughs, Tully's coffee and even laundry soap! They will deliver to your house too which makes it really convenient. The prices are affordable too and the milk men are super nice.
