This is a very nice park for a wide age of children. My boys love to play here. The only thing I don't like is it is hard to keep your eyes on your children if they are playing in two different sections. They have a nice toddler area which we love. They also have a lot of grassy area surrounding the play area which is nice for picnics. They have bathroom facilities which were pretty clean for a public park. Overall this is a wonderful park.
This is one of our favorite parks in Auburn. They have a very nice set of new play equipment. The base is sand and the kids love to dig in it. They have several picnic tables. The ones closest to the play area are not shaded. There are 2 different benches which are shaded. But some more shaded seating would be nice. There is also a little creek for the children to look at.
We were downtown Auburn and I needed some over the counter medicine. We stopped at Toomer's "DRUGSTORE". Well I quickly realized that this was not a "real" drugstore. They had a couple of shelves of medicine. They have more auburn items than they did of medicine. They also seem to run an old fashioned soda fountain which was quaint but not quite what we were looking for. On a positive note, if you have never been to Toomer's Corner after Auburn wins a football game it is quite a site and you should drive through one day just to see it.
My husbands employer uses this bank and we have to get checks cashed there from time to time. They are always friendly and helpful. We have a bank that we like but if we were looking for a new bank I would definitely check into their services.
We have visited several people in this hospital and they have a nice clean hospital with very friendly staff. They seem to strive to make the patients stay very comfortable. They are also helpful if you are visiting.
My husband is a pastor and so we have had the opportunity to visit a few times in Bethany House. This is a very nice facility. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They maintain a nice homelike environment which is comfortable and caring.
Mikes has a little bit of everything it seems. I went in there this week looking for a small Christmas tree. I was overwhelmed. First off the store is bare bones - concrete floor, large bins filled with shoes or clothes, large metal shelving. As I was looking I didn't think the prices were great on the clothes. Alot of the prices could be beat in any big department store when they put things on sale. But if you need a polo shirt on the spur of the moment and they aren't on sale at Dillard's you could find one cheaper at Mikes (if they have your size). They had books very reasonably priced. I saw some electronics and I don't think that the prices were great on those since alot of time you can good deals at Walmart or Target on printers and such. Overall it is an interesting store but I don't think I would shop there often. If you like the hunt for some obscure bargain it is a great hunting ground.
We went in to pick out a couple of hats for my husbands birthday. I had my three sons with me (6, 4, 2 years old). This is not a large store but they have a nice selection of hats and do custom work also. They were extremely patient with us as we decided. They were very kind to my children and it is definitely a place we would shop again.
We needed a new car and went to Behlman, well the entire experience was horrible. After we traded our car, I was looking over the paperwork and noticed that the numbers did not add up to what the sales had told us and scribbled on a scrap of paper. When we went in to finalize the paperwork we asked about this. The finance guy said we would have to talk to the salesperson. We spoke to the sales person and he danced around the subject and said that we had misunderstood that he never would have told us the original price and trade in value. He couldn't produce the original paperwork. If you have to buy a car here, watch them like a hawk, because I feel like they are less than honest.
The inventory at most hallmark stores is pretty similar. This one has the standard cards and gift items. They also have a nice selection of Auburn gift items. I wasn't greeted when I went into the store and had to ask for help for finding what I was looking for. Once I asked for help the staff was friendly.
