The Honey Pot Boutique has a nice selection, but I didn't get the impression that some of their staff was very friendly. I also didn't like the fact that when you try on wedding dresses they won't let you do it alone. I even asked if my mom could help me, but they insisted that a sales person helped me get the dresses on. They also make you wear a hospital like cap over your face when you put the dress on. It was very awkward.
The Toys R Us on Tyrone Blvd. always seems dirty and run down to me. I do like that they send out coupons in the mail and the staff is usually friendly. You can also find a nice vriety of toys there. However, if it weren't for the coupons, I don't think I would shop there.
I love the Barnes & Noble on Tyrone Blvd. across from Tyrone Mall. It's always clean and the staff is always will to help you find what you are looking for. If for some reason they don't have it, they are more than happy to order it for you. It's also a nice treat to be able to get Starbucks coffee while shopping for books.
I like the Blockbuster on Park Blvd. across from Seminole Mall. It's very clean and the employees are friendly and helpful. I also like that it always has plenty of parking and is located right next to a pizza place. I can pick up dinner and a movie in one stop!
My friend has recommended Eve's to me when I was looking for a florist for my wedding flowers. I was hesitant because it was a long drive from my home and the wedding sight. Well let me tell you, I did use them and I'm so glad that I did. The flowers were absolutely beautiful. One of the staff called me the night before my wedding to let me know that they had not yet received the flowers that were to go in my hair and that they were expecting them in the next morning. I remained calm because I knew I could trust them. The morning of my wedding an employee drove about 45 min. to 1 hr. to drop the flowers off at the salon where I was going to have my hair done. Now that's what I call service!
At Essential Gardens Salon & Day Spa you will find everything you need. The building is small and the prices are comparable to other spas. The staff at the spa is more than friendly is are will to go out of there way to meet your needs. I was once in there for a pedicure while I was pregnant. The woman who was helping me offered to get me a sandwich from the shop next door! I didn't take her up on the offer, but thought it was so nice of her.
If your teenager is looking for trendy clothes on a babysitting budget then Rave is the store for them. Located in Tyrone Mall, it is filled with younger style clothes. The quality of the clothing isn't anything to write home about, but most growing kids only wear stuff for a short time anyway. So, why waste your money on expensive clothing that they are just going to outgrow? Take them to Rave.
The Belleview Biltmore off of Indian Ricks Road in Belleair offers a beautiful golf course. Their prices are a bit high, but if you go during the off season (summer) you can get good rates. Just make sure you load up on the sunscreen. The Biltmore staff is friendly and professional and they don't over crowd the course.
I've been to Tire Kingdom on Seminole Blvd a few times. I must say that the staff is friendly and the service is fast. I also think that their prices are reasonable. The only problem is parking. It sometimes gets a bit over crowded in the small congested parking lot.
If you have kids and need to get out of the house for a few hours this is the place for you. Your older kids will enjoy the the batting cages and driving range. While miniature golf (it's nothing fancy) is enjoyed by the rest of the family. After you work up a sweat grab yourself and the kids an ice cream cone at the snack shop. The prices are reasonable and there isn't usually much of a crowd. If you go, don't forget your sunscreen.
