My husband and I had a wonderful experience shopping for furniture at Matter Brothers off of US19 in Pinellas Park. We had looked everywhere for a TV armoire that would go with our new sofa. We didn't find anything on the floor at Matter Brothers so the friendly sales person began hunting through catalog after catalog until she found what we were looking for. It did take a few weeks for our furniture to come in, but it was well worth the wait.
Go to Matter Brother's Outlet if you want great furniture at great prices! The majority of the items in the store are NOT scratch and dent stuff. Most if it's canceled orders or discontinued pieces. The building does look like a warehouse, but if you can overlook that you will get a great deal. The staff is very friendly and there is always plenty of parking available. They do have a delivery service that delivers for them and Matter Brother's Outlet will take the price for delivery off of the price of the furniture that you are buying! Take a look!
If you want your window tint to peal in about two years then go to Window Kote off of Ulmerton in Largo. Yes, their prices are competitive, the staff is friendly and you will have a great first impression when you take a look at your newly tinted windows. However, it's not worth the risk. I had mine tinted there a couple of years ago and now the tint is pealing off and it looks like garbage.
If you don't mind waiting for a good haircut then the Hair Studio is for you. Located off of 131st street, the hair salon is kept clean, their prices are competitive and the staff is more than friendly. My only complaint is that appointments often run behind.
Ann Taylor Loft has the best selection of quality, stylish, conservative clothing. The store is always clean and the staff members are always friendly and helpful, remembering to check on you to see if you need any assistance. I love that the fitting rooms are large enough for me to fit my son's stroller in. Ann Taylor also has convenient on-line shopping, coupons in the mail, and outstanding sales. I give it two thumbs up!
You've got to try The Frog Pond on Gulf Blvd. on North Redington Beach. Everywhere you look there are frogs, frogs, and more frogs! We go for breakfast, but I think they are open for lunch too. They are closed for dinner. The Frog Pond fills up really quickly so make sure you get there bright and early. And...make sure you go with a big appetite because their portions are large.
Quiznos Classis Subs on Seminole Blvd has a great selection of oven toasted subs at moderate prices. I like that they offer coupons in the local paper for those of us who are dining on a budget. You can choose your sub size, but be expected to feel full regardless of the size that you select. They stuff those subs to the mix with your choice of toppings. There is always plenty of parking and the deli is kept clean.
The Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant on Park Blvd. across from Seminole Mall has a good selection of food at good prices. However, I would not recommend dining in the restaurant. It's hotter than a Florida summer afternoon! The menu says free delivery, but they will not deliver to you if they are really busy and you have not ordered enough. So I guess you could say their customer service isn't up to par.
At Seminole Subs you will find a menu that has something for the whole family. They've got everything from subs, burgers, salads, gyros and home made deserts! Try the baklava, it's the best! The prices are reasonable and the service and fast and friendly. They are located on Seminole Blvd. across for the Hess gas station. Give them a try!
Maggianos Little Italy is located in Westshore Plaza in Tampa. I can promise you, it is definitely worth the drive if you live outside of Tampa and are considering dinning there. The parking is plentiful and they even have valet parking free of charge. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. They have a menu full of Italian dishes at moderate to high prices. Make sure you make reservation ahead...they tend to fill up quickly.
