Oilily

I've never seen kids' clothes like the pieces at Oilily--they're very colorful and eclectic, like the bohemian chic look that's popular for women right now. The downside is the prices; pieces are very expensive. Still, it's a great store for one-of-a-kind looks.

Kazimierz World Wine Bar

Scottsdale, AZ Bars & Clubs 08/12/05: 'Intimate and Glamorous'

This is an amazing place for a cozy night out for two. Kazimierz is a dimly-lit, subtly hip nightspot that has delicious appetizers and a wine list that is not to be believed. Prices start reasonably and go up to hundreds of dollars per bottle for rare and vintage spirits.

Barkery Etc

Scottsdale, AZ Pet Supplies & Accessories 08/12/05: 'Pampered Pets Only'

There's a reason The Barkery is in the very upscale DC Ranch area of Scottsdale--its merchandise comes with a steep price tag. But for pets whose owners can afford expensive yet adorable, trendy pet accessories, this is the place to go. Leashes, collars, pet beds, dishes, gourmet treats and much more--The Barkery has it all.

Swell

Swell is a store that caters to the rave/dance scene. They've got unique clothes and accesories for men and women, CDs and DJ equipment. It's a fun store to browse in, but most of the apparel is pretty pricey. Since the move to their Mill Avenue location, they've also added some more mainstream clothing.

Solid Rock Gym

Phoenix, AZ Recreation Centers 08/12/05: 'Great for Beginners'

Solid Rock is a great rock gym for climbing newbies; since the facility itself is new, and it's the only rock gym in northwest Phoenix, most of the clientele are new to climbing and the staff does a good job of making everyone feel safe and comfortable. Prices are comparable to other rock gyms in town; that is to say, about $15 per session.

Phoenix, AZ Gynecologists & Obstetricians 08/12/05: 'Caring and Sensitive'

This place is wonderful. They have only women doctors and nurse practioners, so it's easy to feel comfortable. They take time to answer all of your questions. Besides OB-GYN services, they also do a limited selection of dermatological beauty treatments.
