One of the biggest Toys 'R Us locations I've been to, this store offers aisles and aisles of stuffed animals, Legos, model kits, play kitchen sets, etc. I myself used to come here all the time as a child and play around for an hour (or two or three!). Not too pricey either! Hightly recommended!
Big Lots sells virtually every category of item for more than 50% the wholesale price. Most of the time, the quality is top-of-the-line despite the price, but you want to check before purchases of any type just in case the product you want is indeed defective. Otherwise, very good store.
The best family attraction park I've been to yet. This place has bumpber boats and miniature golf and everything else inherent in the name "Family Fun Center". Recommended!
Six Flags offers oodles of thrilling rides and roller coasters - it seems like there's always a new one opening up. Gift stores are decent, though pricey. Food and drink cost an arm and a leg; but then again, what amusement park doesn't rob you blind? Otherwise, recommended.
Located near both the Anaheim Convention Center and Disneyland, Hilton Towers is a five-star rated hotel. The front doors open up to an indoor fountain layered by 3 tiers of escalators. Not only does the lobby offer a visual feast but the rooms themselves are very comfortable and clean. A pricey hotel that nonetheless shows off all its worth.
Very close to both Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Center, the Marriott offers quality without the price of the Hilton right next door. Depending on which wing of the hotel you choose, you may or may not get a decent view. Otherwise, food is pricey, but room service is very considerate. Recommended.
The ACC is a well-built, massive structure capable of housing 25,000 people (in the case of the annual convention I attend) PLUS additional organizations holding simultaneous conventions at the same location. Smaller halls and/or more private rooms are upstairs as well. Recommended for any organization or company.
Good place to go for an afternoon - very family-oriented, small amusement park with miniature golf, bumper cars, bowling alley, arcade, etc. Prices vary from cheap and worthwhile to sort-of-expensive and questionable, but overall, the place offers decent entertainment.
Plenty of nice things for girls of all ages, at slightly more than the usual cost of items from Claire's Accessories, but still well worth the money for the higher quality merchandise. Also, the store is located in a busy center that offers other things to do after you make a purchase. Recommended.
On one occassion I had to visit this Cingular branch very early in the morning, and the lone clerk opened the doors early for me and helped me call other branches to figure out discrepancies in my recent phone bill. This particular employee was very patient and understanding, and left a tremendously good impression on me. Recommended location.
