Petal Pusher Florist
This florist has nice flowers of various types but they are evry expensive. The arrangements they make are ok but nothing to brag about. finding parking is very difficuly since it is directly on broad street in south philly. Some of teh staff is friendly while other staff members are obnoxious.
Quaker City Flea Market
This flea market sells a lot of junk that most poeple would not want to buy. Sometimes they have nice new in style sneakers at a reasonable cost but its very hard to get a normal size. They have a water ice stand that is horrible and does not look clean. It is very hard to find parkign since it is parallel to a city living street.
Sosa Family Cigars
The downtown disney area is full of resturants and gift shops of all types. It is very scenic, you can sit and have a cup of coffee while looking at the waterfront. In the middle of Downtown disney they have Paradise Island which is for 18 years and older. It consists of a few different clubs and bars for teh people who like to go out and dance. They also have live bands everynight.
All-Star Movies Resort
This was a great hotel for the children. Upon check in the had a movie theater area for the children to watch Disney movies while the parents were checking in. The rooms were nice, 2 double beds and very clean. We stayed in the Fantasia part of teh resort. The food court was also very nice with a wide variety of great food at a decent average price. I suggest you buy the refillable mug. It is $12 and you can refill it the entire time you are there for free with either soda, iced tea, coffee, and so on.
White Deer Run Inc
My brother-in-law atteneded Deer Run for drug detoxification and came out great. He said the staff was very friendly and accomodating. They really helped him out a lot through his detox process. They even picked him up from home to drive him to the center. The only negative thing is that they said he would have a ride home upon detox being completed and they had no ride available for him until 5 days later.
C Thomas Maniaci Accounting
This office is made up of a great staff. They do everything in their power to accomodate you and to explain exactly how they come up with their figures. There are several accountants in the company so someone is always available. I would say the prices of somethings are fairly high though. But if you want your taxes done properly it is worth the expense. Anyway, you can write the expenses off next year.
Patti's Pet Grooming
Patti is great at her job. Her and her staff adore animals of all types, especilly dogs and cats. I took my dog there to be groomed and he looked great when he came home. The prices are very inexpensive and she does a fantastic job. You can either call to make an appointment or walk in.
Dave Definis Auto Body
The owner of this company, Dave Definis, is a great guy. Dave and his staff is very helpful and honest with pricing. They do great work at great prices. He repairs and paints cars and has been for the past 20 years. He did a great job on my fiances car.
Borders Books & Music
Borders is the best bookstore becaus eyou can sit in there and read a book over a cup of coffee and with a small pastry. It is so peaceful, quite and relaxing. The staff is very friendly and the prices are average depending on the type of book you buy.
Star Painting
Star painting does ok work, not the best and not the worst that I have seen. The employees use foul language while working and act unprofessional. The prices are extremely high also. I would rather suggest getting painting done by another more stable company.
