There's this old horror movie involving these very old people out in the woods who make dolls that come to life and occasionally kill people. If those old people opened a shop in New York it would probably look like American Girl Place. Only without the creepiness and all the killing. Great place to collect dolls that don't kill.
Anbar Shoes Co
I try to stop by here at least once or twice year. Whenever I need new shoes and don't want to spend a lot of money. They sell really nice shoes here for great prices and there's always a bargain. The shoes are always good quality and they sell name brand shoes. A shopping I will go.
New York City Police Museum
Ever played cops and robbers when you were a kid? If you like to learn about histories bad guys(Al Capone, Bugsy, O.J.) and see the types of crimes and weapons they use you have got to make this place a must see on your to do list. They even have Al Capone's machine gun. Free admission.

Ever been interested in the history and revolution of S-E-X? For a $14.99 admission (unless you can find the $5 off coupon) you can step into a world where everything and everything revolves around sex and I don't mean Hollywood. They have pictures, videos, performances, sculptures, paintings and a very cool gift shop.
Rizzoli Bookstore
Rizzoli Bookstore is a very good bookstore. It has a lot of wonderful selections of new and slightly less new books. It is conveniently located in Midtown so if you have some time on your lunch break its a good place to hang out and browse. Friendly staff that will help you find what you want.
Babeland
One of the first sex toy shops in New York. They have a lot of various sex toys, paraphanelia and anything else you can think of associated with S-E-X. The staff is very knowledgeable and are more than willing to help you find whatever you need. If you look in Bust magazine they sometimes offer discounts for the Toys in Babeland shop.
Long Island College Hospital
I've been here a few times as a patient and as a visitor. If you have an injury and you are under twenty the wait time is shorter but you will be sitting in chairs for quite awhile. When I was visiting some relatives the doctors were very friendly and nice and answered all of my questions.

Her office is a little difficult to find. You have to enter a complex and walk down half a mile before you see the building. Once inside her office its very comfortable with a very nice waterfall fountain and lots of industry magazines. The doctor is very nice and takes the time to answer your questions.

I have one question for Hello Kitty fans. Why does that cat have no mouth? I guess the best place to find out is Sanrio. If you're into Hello Kitty paraphanelia they have it. It's a fun place to browse around. Especially for those with kids or are just young at heart. The staff is nice and the prices are okay. It's Manhattan. What do you expect?
