I have to say, Penneys should not be know for customer service. Not to say I was treated bad, just basically ignored until I came to the register. Good thing I knew exactly what I wanted, a great deal on some beautiful towels! However, if you need help or expect an associate to be there for you, you should go elsewhere.
PROS: Good sales
CONS: Bad service
I was amazed at the number and diversity of films crammed into this little corner store in the mall. They probably have everything you could think of! Though, the prices were a little high on average, they had some great deals and a good sale on Fox films right now. The sales associate was also very nice and helpful.
PROS: Great selection
CONS: Packed with movies, you'll have to dig.
There's little I love more than a book store. This one is small enough that you don't completely forget about time and other things that need to get done, but large enough to offer a great selection. Probably not the place I would go for a specific book unless it was very popular, but great for picking up a great new read.
PROS: Easy browsing and convenient
This store seems to have everything and nothing at all. Some beautiful pottery though, if you like that, and the most interesting collection of jams and food goods. I would never have thought of some of the combinations available. The sales people, though very nice, don't have any knowledge on the goods sold, so don't ask for an opinion. Other than that, it's a great place to purchase a gift for someone you have no idea what to get them.
PROS: Could browse for hours
CONS: Poorly trained staff
I love this store. It smells great, the people are so nice, and you get to try everything! There is tons of new stuff right now, but they still have plenty of their old stuff, so you can always get your favorite (mines Moonlight Path!). They also have some new candles that I was not all that impressed with. Overall, great place to spend fifteen minutes sniffing.
PROS: Get to try everything
Nice store but not in a nice area. The Safeway near by is dingy and the area is run down. Once youre inside though, its so clean and well organized. The people are so sweet and really like working there. Very helpful, if occasionally really busy. They have really good sales once in awhile and good clearance items. They also send out some really great coupons if youre on their mailing list. Well worth it!
Its small, dingy, dirty and crowded, but you get to drink beer and have food delivered to your table while you watch a movie! The people working there are really nice and laid back. I wouldnt suggest touching the floor though and avoid the bathroom if you can. They show second run movies, but theyre cheap. They really make their money on the food and beverages, so if youd like to see a cheap movie on the big screen for very little money, this would be the place to go, if you dont mind the mess.
Its very difficult to find unless youve been there before or are going with someone who knows where it is. No signs on the street and its back behind trees and buildings. Cleaner than most on my last movie going experience, though (and Im not sure if is the theatre or the movie makers) the trailers seemed to be never ending! I actually momentarily forgot what I went to see. No lines and pleasant people. Didnt try any of the snacks. It was a busy holiday weekend, and we still found parking not a problem.
Wal-Mart is Wal-Mart the world over, but it does make a difference in the people that work there in where it is. Ive found the one in Dallas has nicer associates and are more willing to help. Its not a super Wal-Mart, but nice all the same. Has a please little garden section with decent flowers and good prices. Huge parking lot, but the traffic in and out right now is a little atrocious due to road construction in the area.
A true small town country store. Wonderful people and knowledgeable! Though they may not have everything you need and are a little pricey, keep in mind they are well worth it. I feel its important to support small business, especially when they truly love what they are doing are a real blessing to the community. Very laid back and so nice.
