Payless Shoesource
They have a good selection, but I agree with a previous reviewer that this place is a hit or miss. If you can find a decent quality shoe there the price is good. However most of the shoes there are poor quality and lead to stinky feet! Or hurting feet. I'd rather pay a little more and get a shoe that will last longer and not cause a funky smell.
Crate & Barrel Outlet Store
I love the Crate and Barrel store--going into the outlet is so much fun!!! You can find so many good things at huge savings. I bought a bunch of place mats here for just a few dollars each--and they are gorgeous! The selection is always changing so it's a good idea to come back often :) Not that you'll need convincing!
Home Depot
Home depot is like an adult toy store. They have so many things to browse and drool over--new doors, tile, even appliances. I like their garden center. It's huge and they have such a great selection. They have a good selection of lumber too. I always get our paint here because the prices are so good. The prices are good for everything.
Bed Bath & Beyond
This place has everything you need for your bed, bath and kitchen. They have a huge selection of pots and pans and kitchenware. I love their selection of bath towels. The prices here are really good. They are very competitive. They have a good return policy too. I like that they are constantly sending out coupons in the mail!
Crate & Barrel
Crate and Barrel has so many things that you can use in your home. I really like their kitchen products--anything from really good sets of pots and pans to electric food processors. They have an amazing selection of glassware that is fun looking yet not too expensive. Around the holidays they have really cute decorations. I like that this is a very reasonably priced store.
Jonathan Kaye Baby
This store excels at being a high end specialty children's store. They have so many beautiful nice things. You can tell they are very picky about what they decide to sell. You don't have to worry about the quality of the items you buy here. The prices are a bit higher than other places, but the selection is amazing. Just a lovely little shop.
Goodnite Moon
Goodnight Moon is such a great little children's store. They have a carefully chosen selection of merchandise. The store is really cute. It's not big, but they have so many good things inside! I love going here to find a unique or special birthday present or shower gift. The people working there have always been really helpful.
Waldenbooks
Waldenbooks always has a good selection of new release books. I can always find a new book to read when I go in here. The people working here are great at helping to select a book, but they are good about finding a title in stock. They have a nice sale section. The place is a bit cramped. I also like their selection of calendars.
Book Passage
Book passage is an okay book store. The selection really isn't that great. They place needs to open some windows or get some better air going, because it's always stuffy and musty. The people working there aren't helpful at all. The little cafe part has a limited menu that isn't very good. I wish I liked it as much as everyone else, but I just don't see the charm in the place. The only thing that makes them that different is they are constantly getting a lot of high profiile authors, politicians and celebrities in to talk about their books.
Safeway Stores
Since the renovations this has become my favorite safeway to go to. They always have good sales and good levels of items in stock. The produce department is always well stocked and the items look fresh. I really like the extended bakery--they make some really good muffins! I also like the new olive bar--i always seem to have to buy some!
