We got our team trophies for both t-ball and flag football here last year. With each child's name on them, they cost approximately $6 each. What a great price! They are very helpful in picking out styles that meet your budget, and they are done in just a few days. Get your orders in early at end of season, though, as the wait is a bit longer during peak periods.
If you're looking for the cheapest job, these are the people to call. However, if you want the job done right, these are NOT the people to call. These guys did some repairs for us prior to moving in our house, and the job was done poorly at best. Many of the repairs had to immediately be redone by someone else. The work was shoddy and poor quality. I would not want anyone to get taken in by Donnie's--BEWARE!
The thing I like best about the Dancer's Workshop is that they have a lot of classes for lots of different ages. For instance, most studios won't let my daughter take hip-hop or jazz until they have had ballet and tap. However, here this is an option. They also have summer dance camps and summer sessions of 8 weeks so that your child can try dance to see if she likes it before committing to a longer class.
I would not recommend Cherry Construction for building your new home. The construction is not quality. Many people I know have homes that have had major problems and they were built by Cherry Construction. In addition, the owners are real estate agents, so make commission on sales as well as making money off the building. I feel this is a conflict of interest.
There are lots of gyms in Greenville, but only one is the best value for the money. Champions offers lots of modern equipment, plenty of classes, and child care during peak hours. The classes could be more, and the child care could be included with the membership fee, but overall still less expensive than places like Gold's.
I'm not too impressed by either the professionalism or the memory of Allen Brown. He has constantly shown up very late for appointments and not remembered who we were. We probably would not have them handling our case if it were not for Gail. Gail is the one person in this office who knows what's what and who's who. She is efficient, knowledgeable, and courteous. Gail is the only one in this office that knows what's going on, but she is well worth it.
Briley's Farm is officially known as Briley's Strawberries, but they offer much more than strawberries. As the season changes, they offer pumpkins, a corn maze, etc for fall, and birthday parties year round. They have a petting zoo area, a hay maze and all kinds of animals to look at and feed. They also will teach children about what kinds of crops they grow, and possibly take a hay ride!
Bradford Creek is one of the few golf courses in the area that the public can go and play on. It's well maintained with great landscaping and great grass. The people there are very nice and helpful when making tee times, and courteous when you arrive. It is average in difficulty, and the price is very reasonable considering what it would cost you to play at a local country club. Check it out!
I just have to say that Linda at Body Bliss is the best! Not only does she cut my hair, but she cuts the hair of several of my friends, and I like all the styles she has done on them. You know how you ask your friends who their stylist is? Well, I asked when I was looking for someone new, and 3 of my friends all went to her. Of course, I only asked friends whose hair cuts I liked! So, I made my first appointment with Linda, and haven't regretted it!
Bladez on Ice is the only ice skating rink in Greenville. It was converted to an ice skating rink from a roller skating rink early in 2005. They have regular skating times, birthday parties, and skating lessons. They sponsor hockey leagues and teams through Greenville Recreation & Parks Dept. The biggest complaint I have about this place is the lack of hours they are open! They have periods of 2-3 hour blocks that the place is open, then they are closed for hours at the time. For instance, they're open 10-12 in the morning, then again 2-4. That's not a lot during the day for moms like me who have kids at home! Be open more!
