I know this hotel gets mixed reviews, but it is the one hotel in Las Vegas that we keep going back to. It is right in the middle of all the action with easy access to many other beautiful hotels and is a great bang for the buck when you compare it to other hotels' prices on the Strip.
Probably the Flamingo's best attraction is the beautiful bird sanctuary. It is in the back of the hotel and visited by many guests every day. You can sit in the restaurant buffet dining room and watch the action from there, but it is best close up so you can take some pictures. The pool area back there is lovely as well.
The rooms are not elegant, but a good size, new and clean. All the rooms have been recently renovated. The casino is large and well-decorated with the Flamino colors and decor.
Register for their Player's Club and the next time you go there you could be paying under $50 -$75 for your room weekdays and about $100 on weekends.
PROS: nice rooms, ow price, nice staff
Lori Gold is a strong and experienced leader with a successful track record in strategy, coalition building, community outreach and involvement. She is fueled by an inherent responsibility to affect social, cultural and political change.
She has expertise in marketing, communication and public relations. Product development and management are also a part of her services.
I have known a lot of people, and Lori Gold stands out as one of the brightest and most involved community leaders here in Hollywood. She can make your business work for you.
PROS: knowledgable and an excellent communicator
Marilyn Volker knows her business. She is an experienced sex therapist who is competent and knowledgable. Perhaps you have seen her on T.V. or attended a lecture she has given. She is so trustworthy that the public school system uses her to address teachers and administrators and to advise them about sex education in the schools.
Since sex therapy is a sensitive topic, Dr. Volker knows a lot about presenting it to people who may have inhibitions or who have troubled relationships. Highly recommended.
PROS: an expert in her field
This man is a good solid dentist. He is folksy and friendly with a good sense of humor. His work is good and thorough. the dental hygienist who cleans teeth is efficient. My husband once had him do part of his root canal and it was a job well done.
PROS: good, fun dentist (if there is such a thing as a "fun" dentist!)
Over the years, our family has used Burt Eisenberg for real estate closings, consultations, and other legal matters. He accepts some legal insurances and his prices are competitive.
Unfortunately, when he moved from Hollywod to Naples, we lost him as our attorney on a more regular basis. We hope to plan more efficiently the next time we go to Naples so we can make an appointment to do a will. Meanwhile, all of you who live in Naples can benefit.
Not only is he an excellent and articulate lawyer, but he is an honest and decent person as well.
PROS: a wonderful attorney and a very decent and honest person
This lady knows her business. I meet her in Miramar over 20 years ago and now that she has moved to Pembroke Pines, her practice has really expanded.
Not only is she a First Class dermatologist, but she is intelligent and funny and well. She is very observant and gives you correct diagnoses about your skin. She is also very cautious about doing a thorough exam.
PROS: top notch doctor, skilled
What a surprise! I knew I needed a car for an extended time (6 weeks) while waiting for my new car to be manufactured. My lease was up on my old car and I had no transportation.
You really do not get a wreck to drive, but it is a car maybe 5 to 8 years old. I had this 1998 Le Sabre with a few bruises and dents, but it was so powerful and well-maintained. It drove great and never gave me a bit of trouble the whole time. Gas mileage was wonderful, surprisingly, and in the end, I saved $250.00 over what a new rental car would have cost.
The associates at the office were so nice and accommodating. I would definitely use them again for a long rental.
PROS: decent cars at low prices
CONS: You will not be getting a BMW or Lexus
Enterprise may not be the cheapest car rental agency, but they are definitely the best. Over the past year I have used them 3 times and each time was a winner.
They really do pick you up, which is great because I hate to impose upon my friends and family.
If you do not like the car you get they change it immediately. The last time they offered me a car 2 classes up from what I paid for. Service is usually fast and you always get a clean car.
PROS: nice employees, nice cars
This is my most favorite place to buy a coat or jacket. Their selection is enormous and displayed very well. I have bought several rain jackets, a leather bomber jacket, and a peacoat here, all at good prices.
The store also has all kinds of other clothes for children, men and women, home accessories, shoes and purses. One thing I do not like about the clothes area is that it is not as organized as the coats. Many racks have all different sizes thrown together messily and squashed and you can not find anything. Sometimes I do get something I like, for example some blouses and a pair of shoes. The clothes are not great bargains. I will just basically concentrate on the outerwear as that is what they specialize in.
PROS: Clothes and accessories for the whole family
CONS: messy unorganized racks
This is where I bought my present mattress set and I will most likely go back for my next. Selection is very good and you get a lot of help from the sales people. They are flexible on price, so bargain a little. Not the cheapest place in town, but you know you will get quality ad they will stand behind it.
