While this agency only provided one lead in Manhattan for our child, the professionalism was among the best I've seen in this industry. The studios were bright and accommodating. The props offered for picture taking were bonus and the photographers were world class!!!
PROS: State of the art talent agency
It's very hard to find a truly gifted psychic in this day and age. From what I saw here, don't waste your time. While there, you may feel as if you're questions have been answered, but the art of manipulation is very strong in such an environment. 4 stars for the ability to convince, but validity and credibility are the question.
CONS: too many
This is one of the old time churches with the huge stained glass windows, the likenesses of all of the patron saints, candles in the sacristy and most masses are all high mass, rather than the shortened "save you time" version. A must for the traditional Catholic in search of their stoic teachings.
PROS: Classic Bible Masses
This one is local and has the down home, knows everyone's name feeling. They have all of the newest equipment, gardening needs, buidling supplies, home repair needs and they have their own lumber mill and quarry too! Nice to see this one is still in business and appears that it will be for some time to come!
PROS: Friendly staff
This costume shoppe is the size of a warehouse! It has every costume under the sun and then some more to compliment the moon. They rent to theatrical companies, school drama clubs and individuals too. The costumes are higher priced than most for rentals, but are well worth the extra expense because they appear much more authentic that those you can buy in stores like Party City or Walmart. A must do if you need the perfect realistic constume!
PROS: Authentic and original costumes
The first thing you'll see when you're driving up route 130 are the kayaks and canoes out front. They're a myriad of attractive colors and there's no way you can just drive past if you're a sports buff! They have fishing goods too and bait for those of us that like to fish, even if we never catch anything. Prices are very reasonable!
PROS: Friendly owner
Church picnics, wedding receptions, birthday parties, day camp in the Summer, lessons of all kinds! This is one of the best if not THE best camp I've even seen! They have hot food all the time and the food is GOOD too! They have a lake with paddle boats, a pool, and a ton of activities for camp too! If you can afford to send your child to this camp, do it! They provide bussing to and from as well!
PROS: Never a boring moment!
CONS: camp is a bit expensive
The owners of this business are a lot like Western Union, in that they will wire money to Brazil for the large population of Brazilians that live in town. They also sell imports from the country in the way of food, clothing, music and magazines as well. The prices are a tad high, but given the fact that they have to be imported, that would be understandable. They were the first import shop in Riverside for Brazilian services when the population was just a dozen or so of that ethnic group, now the community is thriving and a great place to live given that this agency keeps them close to home when they are so far away.
PROS: Close to home feeling for Brazilian residents
Stylist, Lisa is only one of two stylists that I can find now, that knows how to feather hair properly. Most of the stylists today are very young and know how to cut hair, but for those of us that are over 40, we really don't need to look like we've just left the local punk rock concert on a daily basis.
If you want a late 1970s, early 1980s style and want it done correctly, then Lisa is the one to make an appointment with.
PROS: Local salon
Every time I'm at this mall, I HAVE to go to Auntie Annes to get at least half a dozen of the raisin pretzels dipped in white melted sugar! They are my fave, but there are cinnamon sugar coated pretzels, jalapeno, garlic and a bunch of other flavors. They are the best and can't be passed up!
PROS: Yummy yummy yummy!
