Dr. Yu is very friendly and comforting, but he is not very thorough and quick to prescribe antibiotics. I am nearly immune to them and having a lot of health problems because Dr. Yu over-prescribed them when I was a child.
This Gym is extremely expensive and very small. There isn't room for much equipment and I have seen people being "strecthed out" or trained outside on Woodhaven Blvd because there isn't enough room inside.
As a former Kindergarten teacher, Myself and other teachers could pick out which children came from the Learning Tree because they were unruly, undisciplined, and had no concept of classroo structure, as did their pre-k counterparts. No college complete with its red tape and hierarchy can be perfect, but you will get a good education here. Within walking distance of Union Square and the East Village. Great for business and good for psychology.
Great place to run in and get your morning paper or lotto scratch off ticket. I remember growing up going in here to pick out a candy bar, a birthday card for a friend, or some trinket such as a smurf figurine.
If you have the unfortunate occurrence of the loss of a loved one, Hillebrand Funeral Homes has been in business for generations. They are thoughtful and caring.
Pick up some gardening supplies or just a few plants. Young and old, avid gardener and pot-planter alike will enjoy this Garden Heaven. Vast amount of supplies, seeds, and plants. Don't miss the mini petting zoo of farm animals and the goldfish pond!
In the late afternoon or evening, pack up the kids or a few friends, and play some miniature golf or putt a few "real" golf balls. Not overly expensive and beautiful scenery. WEAR BUG SPRAY! There are a thousand mosquitos.
I went to Dr. Eckstein for my braces and he made a painful and traumatic event all the more harmful. My current dentist spent months and years afterwards scraping off glue from the braces that Dr. Eckstein had never removed. My teeth turned yellow and are now breaking apart. When I would go for appointments, he would chomp his gum in my face while reminding me I couldn't chew gum. He was just terrible.
The staff is very kind and Dr. Engel is knowledgable and gentle with both your animal and you. We had just adopted a dog that had severe mental problems and, before we were forced to return it, Dr. Engel and his staff supported us through a tough time.
