This is a really well maintained course. I golf it just once a year in a tourney because I"m not a member, but it always so beautiful. The clubhouse is also fun and has a nice view of the fairway. The drinks are reasonable, I think a glass of wine is $5 which is not bad for a country club.
This place gave me very good service when I had my wedding ring engraved and stone checked. Rick tightened my stone for free, and the engraving was very reasonable. The only downside is the place was not air conditioned and it was hot hot hot in there waiting.
I have often gone here for highlights and they were always quite reasonably priced. They also have evening appointments that are easy to get into. The last time I went my highlights were over double what I had been paying. Not sure if this was an isolated mistake or if their prices shot up, but I usually was very satisfied with the result of my coloring.
If you are looking for a run of the mill haircut, this is a fine place. On the upside, I have always been able to get a walk in appointment, which I appreciate. However, the cuts I have gotten are quite average. And twice they have given excuses to get out of styling it afterwards, which was supposed to be included.
I've had my taxes done here two years and they are so nice and helpful each time. Also, I've had to call back twice to get a copy of my return and it is no problem, they are friendly and fax it right away. A couple times I've called back with misc. questions, and they answered them on the spot. I would highly recommend.
This is a good place if you are dropping off your old stuff. In fact if you call they will come pick it up from your house. Their store also has a very good selection of used items. The cons are that this store is overpriced. We were looking for a book shelf after we got married and went to the thrift stores first. We found a used shelf at Dakota Boys store and then the exact same one at Target, new in the box, for less money. I've noticed the furniture especially is marked too high here.
This place has a very good car wash. I also have been very happy with the service. The managers at this place have been very nice to me.
They have a large selection of snack items to buy. They are conveniently located right along Broadway. The only con is a lot of times there will be a long line for the car wash, as it is a good one.
They manage one of my buildings and they have done an excellent job. I get professional summaries at the end of the month. The vacancy rate is very low. Every time I have called there to ask a question I receive prompt results and answers to my questions. I think the managers they hire are knowledgable and know what they are doing. Overall I have been very pleased.
This really lured me in, thinking free gifts once I got to town. However, the gifts were mostly coupons to area businesses. SEveral of the coupons were expired. There was only one that looked good at first glance, but even that one wasn't once the fine print was read. It was for a free meal at Paradiso's, but you had to schedule a meeting with an insurance sales man in order to get the free meal. A lot of the other coupons were like "20% of Wally's World of Knives." I just wasn't interested and it wasn't worth the hour of my time that is required. The gift bag isn't just dropped off to you. YOu have to sit through an hour long advertisement of all these businesses. I guess it depends on if you have more time or money.
This place is ok. I had a car starter installed to the tune of several hundred dollars. It was quite a hassle because I needed to use their transport service to drop off the vehicle and pick it up. Which is to be expected. What shouldn't be expected is that they neglected to test the car starter before they called me to have me pick it up. I used the tranpsort service again, got my vehicle, got it home and realized that even though the remote starter worked, it didn't turn on any of the accessories. So it would start but not turn on the heater, which is the purpose of it in winter. I had to do the transport thing all over again, and no apology. Not 6 months later the remote starter works about 50% of the time.
