Visitacion Valley Grapevine
This is our neighborhood paper, The Grapevine. It is a wonderful little paper that gets us interested in helping our own community. There are always intersting topic and articles as well as the fact that our local businesses can buy add space and tell us they exist! It is a wonderful little paper with lots of character and for sure lots to say!
San Francisco Honda
I bought my first Honda at San Francisco Honda, a few months back. Their sales people are very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The sales person even walked me around the dealership to the service and parts areafor when I need to bring my car in. They parts and service people there were also very nice and helpful. I would for sure recommend San Francisco Honda to anyone looking to buy a new or used car!
A Clean Well Lighted Place for Books
Wow this is a great bookstore. They carry a lot of books by the not so known authors as well. They are always having book signings and the authors coming in to read. It is very clean and indeed well Lighted. Their children's section is wonderful and organized nicely for good book picking (for the appropriate age of the child). They are a must go to book store in San Francisco.
24 Hour Fitness
I have been waiting for the new 24 Hour Fitness to open on Montgomery for quite a while now. They told me it would be open on the 20th of July and now they are saying the 30th of July. I took a peek in and the sheet rock isnt even up yet! They are trying to get me to join and OF COURSE pay up front, NO WAY without seeing the facilities! So, I joined Club ONe around the corner instead, they were too shady at 24 hour for me!
Club One
I went today for my first fitness class and boy did it kick my butt! I would recommend this fitness center to you all. It is more expensive that 24 hour fitness but well worth it if you ask me. I dont like to have to remember to bring toiletries and a towel each time and with Club One I dont have to! They are provided for free. They have a ton of classes to choose from as well.
Ambassador Toys Llc
This little independant gem is one of the best toy stores in San Francisco. I would MUCH rather spend my time and money at Ambassador Toys than at any Toys R Us chain. They have very unique and mentally stimulating toys that are for learning and fun. They have a wonderful staff that are eager to help you make a decision be it for your own child or a gift for someone else. I would recommend them to anyone.
Alice Fong Yu Alternative Elem
Alic Fong Yu Elementary School is one the the top elementary schools in the city. Their students consistently score very high on test and the school is in the top 5 every year in the Bay Area. It is conveniently located by bus and has many spots to drop your kids off every morning for school. They also have a chinese immersion program that is just terrific. I would highly recommend this school to any parent.
California Pacific Medical Center
If you want the best for yourself and your child I would recommend having your baby at California Pacific Medical Center. They are second to none in the field. I had such a wonderful experience with them that I am planning for our second child and am sure we will be there for the labor.
Lullaby Lane Kids
We got our daughters crib at the Lullaby Lane Clearance Center. It was brand new in the box and just georgous and MUCH less than other retailers. They also have carseats and strollers and bedding as well available at clearanced prices in their separate clearance store. Well worth the trip.
Lullaby Lane Baby & Kids
Lullaby Lane is one of the best palces to find unique baby gifts and gear. They have their own variations of almost anything. You can buy anything from bottles to slings and test drive many types of strollers. They are on the expensive side, but not much more than the regular chain stores and well worth it.
