The Egypt room of the Fox Theater is unbelievable. The decor and style of this place is incredible and sure to impress even those with the most artful taste. If you can afford it, I highly recommend this location for special events. The only flaw is that parking is difficult to come by in this area of Atlanta.
Woodstock Furniture Outlet has a large selection of furniture in a lot of different styles. We like traditional/country/farmhouse styles, and we were able to find pieces we liked here. The prices are comparable to other local furniture stores, and the staff is great at helping you find what you need. Highly recommended!
I've known my wife since high school, and this is the only place she's ever had her hair done. For junior and senior prom and then our wedding, she went to Regis. Everyone complimented my wife about her hair at all three events. They always have good appointments open with great stylists that do really good work. If you need your hair done, especially for a special occasion, this is a great place!
GAP is a great dry cleaner. The staff is friendly and helpful. They treat you with courtesy and respect. Your clothes will come back fresh and like new. They are also a good choice if you need any type of alterations. They got my alterations done quickly and professionally. My garments fit better than I thought possible! I highly recommend GAP!
We had our wedding cake done here, and they did a fantastic job. The cake a beautiful and just how we asked (we wanted a special decor theme). It was also very delicious! Agan's also has a lot of other yummy baked goods. We stop in from time to time for a treat, and it's always great! The employees are great at what they do and very friendly, too!
Woodland is a very nice high school. It was built recently, so the design is good and the building is in great shape. They keep the school clean and organized. There are a variety of classes for kids to choose from, and a lot of great teachers. The art program is really good, too.
Harry's is the place to go for a large variety of fresh, healthy foods. They have an amazing selection of fresh produce and meats. The breads and cheeses are great. You can find healthy frozen foods and you can even grind your own fresh peanut butter! I've been going since I was a child, and I plan to go for the rest of my life!
This is pretty much a little old country diner that serves old-fashioned favorites. The country fried steak and grits are great for breakfast. The service is courteous and timely, but not necessarily friendly, especially on busy days. The decor could use some improvement, but its a nice stop for a country lunch.
Henry's gets a lot of publicity in the Atlanta area, but I am a local from Acworth and my opinion may stray from the usual. While I agree that Henry's has a delicious selection of Louisiana cuisine, I also think this business has a few flaws. The waiting list can be tremendous, and while the crowd is waiting, they tend to drink and become, shall we say, tipsy and may cause disturbances. Evenings are probably not appropriate for children. I have also questioned how fresh the food is, and the conditions of the kitchen.
This is a small local bank, run by local people. The service is old-fashioned and courteous. They really try to help you get what you need in checking, savings, or loans. They even helped me out when I was right out of high school. They are a great local bank and I highly recommend them!
