Billy Martins Western Wear
Billy Martin's Western Wear has been plugging along for years. Personally I thought they would dissappear after the passing of namesake ex Yankee manager so many years ago, but they keep serving up a nice array of Western clothing. The workmanship on some of the boots and shirts is extraordinary. Definitely worth a visit.
Mash Army & Navy Store Inc
Army-Navy Mash is better than the typical store of this type in New York. Much of the merchandise seems to be of a higher quality and the carry recognizable brands such as Maglite and Swiss Army.
Whiskey Dust
Whiskey Dust is a very cool place deep over in the West Village. They have a great selection of items from the West including great vests, hats and boots. The service is top notch and it's a fun place to shop.
Taj Mahal Indian Restaurant
Tajmahal Indian Restaurant is located on a strip with a bunch of other Indian restaurants which the laws of competition seems to have taken hold and they are all pretty good but I like Tajmahal the best. The food is very good and the service is great, fast and efficent.
Time Will Tell
Time Will Tell has a decent selection of watches. Nothing to flashy but some nicely priced material. The service when I came for a visit was friendly and they really seemed to know there stuff.
