This movie theater is in the heart of downtown Chattanooga. It is an older theater that is starting to show its age. The parking is in the garage and your parking stub will be stamped for free parking. I feel a little spooky walking through the garage to my car after a late showing, They do run first run movies and it is usually not too crowded.
CONS: older theater, parking garage
The Hamilton Place Cinema 10-17 has always been a bargain at only $2.50. But now it is even cheaper. On Wednesdays all shows are only $1.00. I don't know how long this will last so take advantage of it while you can. They son't show first releases but the movies are still very recent. So if you want to save money, wait a couple months and go to the Hamilton Place 10-17 on Wednesdays.
PROS: Very inexpensive
CONS: movies are not new releases
I have, over the course of several years, gotten a few mufflers from Guest and have always been satisfied with the quick, friendly service I have received. Although the waiting area is not as clean as I would hope for, it is worth it to know that you are getting a good muffler at a great price.
PROS: Unbeatable prices
CONS: waiting area is lacking
This convenience/gas station is conveniently located at the corner of Ringgold Rd. and Belvoir in the heart of East Ridge. It is perfect for stopping on the way home from work to pick up that gallon of milk or gas up the car. The store is always clean, the milk is fresh and the employees are friendly and competent. The gas is sometimes a little higher than other places, but if you can do it en route to your next appointment you will save the cost of driving somewhere else.
PROS: Fresh Milk, easy in and out
CONS: gas prices are a little higher
The friendly, helpful tellers at Cornerstone are never too busy to take care of you in a neighborly way. The Saturday morning hours are convenient for those of us who can't make it during the week. They offer competitive rates on their CD's and interest checking accounts. Being located on the corner of Ringgold and East Ridge Ave. does pose a challenge for those coming from the east but the traffic light at E. Ridge Ave. does make it a little easier.
PROS: Open Sat. mornings; new expanded drive through
Linda's Produce is conveniently located on Ringgold Road just east of the Bachman Tubes (tunnel). They offer a good variety of homegrown fruits and vegies with prices much lower than the local grocery stores. Friendly and knowlegable employees make shopping there a pleasure. They are always willing to help you find what you want. Although it does get busy and there might be a line to check out, your wait is well worth it. If you haven't visited them, please do so before they close for the winter.
PROS: Fresh fruit and veggies at a reasonable price
CONS: getting in and out of parking lot
Everything you could want for your pet is under one roof. They offer the most complete selection of pet food I've ever seen. The toys are cute, inexpensive and loved by pets. They even have costumes for your furry friend. Don't have a pet? Don't worry, they have regular pet adoption days where you can find a cat or dog to take home with you. They are very pet friendly, even encouraging you to bring your pet to the store. They offer dog training for those who need a little encouragement. The personnel can't be beat! They are extremely helpful, knowlegable and truly care about your pet.
PROS: Fast, friendly service with huge selection of merchandise.
CONS: local traffic
T-Mobile provides very good cellular service with reasonable rates. Their employees are very knowledgable and helpful. They are easy to get to being located in the Wal Mart shopping plaza. There is ample curbside parking and good selection of plans and phones. T-Mobile also provides a 24-hour customer service number for problems/billing questions you have after hours.
CONS: Beware of overage charges. They are steep.
Media Play, located next to Lowe's behind Pet Smart on Gunbarrel Rd. carries most types of media...Books, Magazines, Cd's, and DVD's, etc. Their employees are helpful in finding what you need and even ordering items they don't have in stock. They have a very large used DVD/CD section and will buy back from you the cd's and dvd's you no longer want. They also carry accessories to your computer/media center. You can pre-order soon to be released items and they will have them waiting for you. Great place!

CONS: Traffic can be difficult getting in and out of their parking lot.
If you want it McKay's will have it.... CD's, used books, Videos, and DVD's. McKay's will give you trade credit or cash for your old items. With easy access off Hwy 153 at Lee Hwy.
