When I went in to purchase a gift card for our son, it took so long (twenty minutes) they ended up giving me my drink free. I was surprised that purchasing a gift card (adding to one) was a transaction new to them. My drink was great!
Ideal Nails
I drive almost twelve miles one way to get LeeAnn to do my nails on a regular basis. Whatever LeeAnn does, my nails last forever. The price is very reasonable, making it a great value.
Talbots
Although the staff sometimes seems a little aloof, you will find excellent quality clothing. The line of clothing is of the nature that you can wear it anywhere and always feel comfortable. The price is a little higher than department store prices.
Science City At Union Station
Very few of the exhibits were in working order. Perhaps as many as fifty percent were dismantled or not working properly. The price would have been a little high had everything been working. We strongly considered asking for a refund. I thought it was a disgrace to our city.
Curves
I love the fact that only women are attending this health facility, and that no one "dresses" for the workout. The staff is pleasant. The equipment is new and well maintained. It is definitely worth the price.
Half Price Books
What book lover could not relish getting a good deal on the latest books. Although most books are used and at half price, a few new books are available at drastically reduced prices. Just to browse the aisles is entertainment for anyone who enjoys books. You never know what you will find.
Applebee's Neighborhood Grill
What a wonderful staff providing old-fashioned "curb service" with a wonderful product, also. Their salads cannot be beat and are large enough for two meals easily. How nice to be able to receive such a high-quality product at a reasonable price without getting out of your car in this horrible summer heat!
Chico's
To say that I love the mix and match versitility of the quality clothing line would be an understatement. The clothing just goes on, and on, and on. The greatest asset at this store, however, is the manager, Mary Pat. She is always delighted to see you and has a bizillion ideas on how to combine items you already have for different looks. She puts the "icing" on a very nice product line. You leave feeling great with your purchases and your appearance.
Sharper Image
As an airline employee, I see lots of brands of luggage. I have bought Sharper Image's because we do put a lot of mileage on our bags. I felt the slightly higher price would be validated by our frequent use. The bags have been mistreated on international and long-distance trips. During one year alone, I traveled over 20 times to visit my dad. All of this leads up to report that after seven years, we still have luggage that is going strong. The corners are frayed, but the durability has not been dimenished in the least. It is great luggage.
