The Nurture Center
The Nurture Center is the absolutely best baby store I have ever been to. They cater towards the more "natural" approach to child rearing. They have cloth diapers, a ton of breastfeeding support items and tons of adorable baby clothes and gift items. They also offer various classes from baby wearing to prenatal yoga.
Bg Haircuts
This is a great place to go if you want a good haircut for not very much money. It is a friendly atmosphere and you never have to wait for more than 25 minutes. I usually go with my husband and we are both able to get a haircut in under an hour. I would definitly recommend this place!!
The Whole 9 Yards
This is an independantly owned hair and nail salon, but each stylist owns their own business. So far I have been to 2 of the people and they do a good job, and are all friends with the others, without any competetion. If a new call comes in the person who answers the phone gets it, instead of fighting or anything. They have a friendly atmosphere and do a good job on hair!
Hairitage Beauty Salon
This is a good salon if you are looking for a hairstyle for someone who doesn't want the latest fashion. They tend to only cut your hair in old fashioned styles. They are good at what they do though!
Tri Lus Salon & Spa
Great place to get a manicure and pedicure! It is in Hilltop Mall, which is extremely convenient, and though they are busy you never have to wait more than 10 or 15 minutes before it is your turn when you are a walk in customer.
99 Ranch Market
They have the biggest selection of Asian foods I have seen in the area. Their vegetables and seafood are incredibly fresh (half of the seafood is alive until you order it) and all of the snacks and other types of foods are abundant as well. In the back is a little area where they serve an incredible tapioca drink too!
Costume Corner
Though this shop is a little small they have a pretty good variety of costumes. Whether you are looking for a cute flapper outfit for a costume party or a full on Mickey Mouse outfit for a parade, they have one of every costume. The only downside is that the size selection isn't the greatest.
Buffalo Exchange
You wouldn't even know this was a used clothing store! The clothes are high quality, and great priced. Huge selection of the best brands available. The staff is very helpful and they also have a wide variety of sizes.
Amoeba Music Store
It doesn't matter if you are looking for a record album, a cd or a tape. A 70's hair band, a new age artist or Britney Spears, Amoeba music has it all. You should give yourself plenty of time to browse, becuase there is a LOT of music there! he staff is helpful, but you feel as if you have discovered treasure when you find that 80's pop band all by yourself!
Codys Books
Cody's Bookstore is one of the landmarks you point out to people because everyone knows where it is. They have a great selection of topics, and a nice relaxing atmosphere to the store. The staff is great, they are very helpful and knowledgable about where specific topics and items are.
