Cook Park
The sheer size of this park may be intinmidating...it's so large. However, we have found fun here with the variety of picnic and group sites, large field (balloon festival here!), and the great area for sports. We have had company picnics here, too!
PROS: Large park...great facilities!
CONS: Make sure you know where you are going!
Hairdo Usa
My sister and I went here before my wedding. I got a quick french manicure and my sister got bright red. There was no line and so we were happy to be seen on such short notice. Although less than 12 hours later one of my sister's red nails peeled entirely off! I dont' know if it was old materials that shop used, but we were shocked! Thank goodness we purchased the whole bottle of nail polish..otherwise we would be in trouble!

West Waluga Park
If you want a nice park that is good with kids, adults...then this is the perfect respite. It has a shelter for rainy days, and a running/walking path around the park. They have on-site bathrooms, trash cans, and picnic tables. It is not real large, but has a great green area for lounging or games.

Perledent Dental Care
After our insurance for dental care was changed, we had to look for a new dentist. We love the new offices of PERLEDENT. My husband claims it is the best instruction he's ever received about how to care for his bridgework. They are advanced in their technology, and are usually able to see us. They seem to really care about dentistry and are not just there for "the buck". Good location for us, too!

We went here on New Year's Eve. That was not a good time because we did feel rushed. We were taking pictures with 11 family members due to an upcoming wedding. Despite the fact we felt rushed...these were by far the BEST PICTURES our family has ever taken! They were flawless! I didn't think our family looked so great! We ordered some package pictures for everyone, but we mainly just ordered the 8x10 due to the expense.

No one wants to have to deal with a collision center...but if you do..then definately work with Leifs! A local company committed to serving their customers and not the insurance company. It is the insurance company that will tell you to here...maybe. They fixed my front bumper and it looks brand new!

Les Schwab
I value good service...and Les Schwab delivers. The guys never run to my car like they do in the commericals, but they are reliable...good tires, rotation, alignment...and all is backed with a warranty to fix things that are not right. I appreciate this kind of service!

Radio Cab
The MAX broke and like a million people were calling taxis on a Friday afternoon. However, after I called Radio Taxi, they said 10 minutes...1 hour later the guy finally arrived! With not even an apology. I would not recommend them again!

Helvetia Christmas Tree Farm
Our family has discovered a new holiday tradition! After years of using fake trees and visiting boring tree lots, we had the opportunity to travel to this marvelous family farm and cut down our own tree! What a joy it was picking our own tree amoung the trees. Please bring cash! And, they have a great gift shop, too!

Golden Gate Seminary
If you desire a real education for the ministry then look no further than to Golden Gate Seminary. This is an extension of the Baptist Seminary in San Francisco, created to meet the needs of students in the NW. They have incredible staff, engaging classes. My husband and I are proud alumni of this school and he finally graduate in May. Our favorite professor is Dr. Kon Yang, the Old Testament professor.
