San Jose Bar & Grill

I have never been to this place during the day so i can't comment on there food, but i have been there at night for some bar action. I couldn't even get to the bar it was so packed. The place is pretty big though i have a nice time trying to get around. If you are trying to take some friends out this is not the place. If you are trying to meet girls this is not the place. If you are trying to sweat cause of all the people breathing inside then this is the place for you. I personally recommend somewhere else.

Michaels Stores

This store has a good inventory it's just all over the place. It looks like a pig pen. Every time i go there i feel like i am in toys r us. Not to mentioned that they always seem under staffed. If you don't mind digging throught the rubble it's fine. Come to think about it i only go there because there are not too many arts and craft stores in the area

Texas Smokehouse Bbq

This place has some of the best food i have EVER tried. No joke i have had dreams about this place. The meat is cooked to perfection and the sause has a flavor all it's own. My friends have tried to take me else where, but i always end up back here...The price is worth it

Bull Dog Lifestyles

This place is garbage. I got a tattoo of some stitches on my wrist and it looks hella cartoonish. This will be on my body forever and i don't like it. They might have some new artist there but from what i got it was horrible. I have heard stories from other people claiming that their experience was poor as well.... it's up to you

House Of Pain Tattoos Inc

This place is an excellent choice for getting a tattoo. I have a Flaming Bird on my arm that still looks sick! The location is not hard to find and the artists are cool. I am very pleased with the way it turned out and will go there again to get another.

Super Taqueria

This place gets too much hype. The food is alright, nothing special. People act like it is gods gift to mexican food. there are plenty of other places in the area that ar ten times better in taste. Everytime i order a steak burrito from this place it seems to let me down. It does not have it's own distinct taste. I think the microwave burritos at 7-11 are better.

Vito's Famous Pizza

The slices at this place are for the hungry only. I'm a big guy and two slices did me in. Watch the Big screen if there is a good game on or just hang back with some pitchers. Either way you will enjoy your time. The only bad thing is that they don't deliver and pizza can get cold if you take too long to get home. Otherwise this place is on my top five pizza joints.

Tower Records Video Books

I shop at this store fo the Used Dvd's. They have a huge selection and low prices. I bought three fairly new released movies for under $20. Movies as low as 4.99, good ones. The organization of the movies is somewhat off but not too bad. Most titles are in alphabetical order. I have never gotten a dvd that did not work from this place. They are located near other record shops so if what you are loking for is not at this store it might not be too far.

De Anza College

i have attended De Anza off and on for about three years now and i love it. I have seen about 4 different couselors and they have all been extremely helpful in planning my classes and pointing me in the right direction. The campus is very nice, although right now there are some some construction going on. Lots of trees and benches for relax reading and studying. The reputation of this college has held up for the time that i have been attending. I live in San Jose about 5 miles from Evergreen Community College and i drive 15 miles to Cupertino everyday to attend this school.

PROS: Big Campus, Friendly and Helpful Staff

Haight Ashbury Music Ctr

This music shop has a great selection of instruments. I bought my first bass guitar from this store when i was a teenager with a budget. My major purchase from this store was a double-bass pedal (Gilbaltar)which was on sale for like $150. Every time i visit the store it seems to grow and grow. They also have very experienced employees. Very pleased with all purchases and service.
