Another Bead Please
What I like the most about this particular bead store is the wide variety of seed beads they have ready-to-go in little clear plastic tubes. The non-seed beads are mostly organized by color rather than shape, which I find especially convenient. They also welcome you to work on bead projects right there at a long table in the back, which is another nice feature of this place.
The prices are pretty good unless it's per bead- you are far better off buying a strand. This is probably true of any bead store though.

These guys are soulless con artists who will do their best to rip you off any way they can. Even though I was able to recognize their ridiculous sleazy used-car salesman tactics for what they were I still bought a used car from them because I was desperate....they obviously noticed this and took full advantage of this and I have lived to regret doing business with these clowns- don't make the same mistake I did! "Mr. Ed" "special financing" not only roped me into a deal I couldn't afford; they also never filed the necessary paperwork with the MVD for my trade-in, and a year later the police came to my door saying they found my car- it had been stolen, then abandoned, and guess who's name was STILL on the registration a year later?? They never bothered to take my name off the registration like they were supposed to. As a result, I could be held responsible for anything and everything that happened with that car after I traded it in! That's beyond bad business practices; that's reprehensible- and that ain't no bull!
PROS: NONE whatsoever!
CONS: yes, cons, cons, cons.... 'nuff said!
Beads Galore Intl Inc
This is the mecca of all bead stores. But they should probably get a bigger place because they have If you can't find what you want here, they can get it for you. If they can't get it for you, it doesn't exist. I don't think I've ever been in this store when it wasn't busy. They have several rooms just crammed with beads- it's rather overwhelming at first. It's really not all that large considering how much merchandise they have. The walls are covered with hanks of every color and type of bead imaginable. The only drawback is that it's sort of hard to find the place because it's in an industrial complex where you'd least expect it. If you are into beading this is the place to go.
PROS: billions of beads
CONS: may be tricky to find the place at first
Paradise Beach
I've been to a lot of tanning salons and most of them were okay, but Paradise Beach really stands out among them. They definitely have the best deals and numerous package options to choose from. If you only want a few sessions other salons charge you a lot more per session than if you spend the big bucks and buy an "unlimited" deal. But this place doesn't rip you off like that. The owner, Doug, is really cool and always has the state of the art tanning equipment. I personally love "The Orbit" which is a bed that tans you super fast... very few salons have it. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this tanning salon!

Bc Beads & Gifts
If you love to bead definitely check this place out. I've been going here ever since they first opened a couple of years ago. Carla, the owner and her daughter-in-law Crystal are almost always there. These two ladies have never failed to made me feel like I am their very best customer every time I go in there. Carla also makes the most gorgeous jewelry, which is displayed all over the store. I fell in love with the beaded crystal tennis bracelets she had made. And since Carla gives beading lessons to anyone interested, I now can make similar tennis bracelets myself!
Although the store is relatively small compared to some other bead stores, I can usually find exactly what I want anyway. The prices are surprisingly low to boot!
PROS: super friendly people, great prices, nice beads

Buffalo Exchange
This store will supposedly give you cash or store credit for your used clothing provided that what you bring in is in good condition and appropriate for the season. However they apparently have trained the sales staff to reject the clothes if a person wants cash and not store credit.
Here's how it works: when you bring in your clothing that you want to sell or exchange, the first thing they will ask you before looking at what you have to sell or exchange is whether you want cash or credit. They will tell you that you will get a higher dollar amount in store credit than you will get in cash for the same items. But what the reality seems to be is that if you say you just want cash, you won't end up getting anything at all. I have brought in bags of nice clothes in that should have easily met their requirements, including some brand new clothes with the tags still on, and was told by a snotty salesperson that none of my clothes met their current needs. After this happened on more than one occasion I mentioned my experiences at Buffalo Exchange to a friend who said the same thing happened to her. Both of us have excellent fashion sense, but both of us had said we wanted the cash. Coincidence?
I was kind of insulted at first when my stuff was rejected, but then I took a look around and noticed the crap they had actually not rejected and I was disgusted. Maybe there was an ugliness requirement that my clothes didn't meet or something.... I don't know and I don't care because I wouldn't shop here anyway. Buffalo Exchange misrepresents itself and frankly it's a joke- don't waste your time going here.

Pepperwood Water & Ice Cream
I've noticed a lot of places called "Water and Ice" popping up all over the place, and many of these establishments sell drinks made from shaved ice and flavored syrup. But this place is different- it's Water and Ice Cream!
Now my boyfriend and I are self-proclaimed ice cream connoisseurs, so we can be pretty tough critics. One evening we happened to be walking by this place at closing time. Suddenly we were overcome by an urgent and immediate need for ice cream. The owner was about to lock up but he must have seen the looks of longing on our faces.... anyway, we asked if he was closed and he said yes.... but let us in anyway! I think it was actually 10 minutes or so past closing time, actually, so the guy was really nice to let us in at that point. He had only a few flavors to choose from and they were pretty basic flavors, but the ice cream was really, really good. My boyfriend got a carefully constructed triple scoop ice cream cone piled high by the owner's steady hand. It was pretty ridiculous but I was jealous when my single scoop was gone.....Anyway, we both thought it was some of the best ice cream we had eaten for some time and that we would definitely go back. Great little place!

I cannot praise these people enough! If you are looking for a chiropractor, this is the place to go; they are fantastic!

I have entrusted my health to Dr. JJ Levine of Chiropractic for Life for five years now and under his care my health has improved significantly. I have also been treated by Dr. Warren Levine, Dr. Brotman, and Dr. Frame, all of whom have cheerfully and skillfully taken care of me in JJ's absence. Many times I have stumbled into this office with a terrible, intractable headache which would disappear shortly after being adjusted by one of these guys. They know what they are doing and they do it well...you are in good hands here, literally!
PROS: The highest quality care in a warm, caring, friendly environment.
CONS: There are no cons- this place is top-notch.
Anderson Animal Clinic
I brought one of my cats to this animal clinic on the recommendation of a friend. Dr. Smith was clearly an experienced professional and an animal lover, and I had confidence in his assessment of my pet. He not only took the time to answer my questions and discuss options, but his rates were surprisingly inexpensive. The only reason I didn't give this animal clinic five stars is because the receptionist out front had a brusque demeanor that could easily be misconstrued as uncaring- not the attitude to have when one is representing a business of any type. But the important issue here is the quality of care, in my opinion, and based on that variable I would highly recommend this animal clinic.
PROS: Experience and expertise of veterinarians; low cost
CONS: Discourteous receptionist
