About a year and a half ago, my son decided to get peanut butter all over his bedroom floor. Since we lived in a rental, I called Steamagic to help me take care of it. The guy said it would be $45.00 and nothing more. Well what he failed to mention was that price was if you did three or more rooms and its per room. I was desperate, so I paid him and he cleaned my carpets guaranteeing to me that he would have no problems getting the stain out that was less than two days old. He did not get the stain out (I did later with baking soda and my own carpet cleaner). I was very dissapointed and will not be using him again.
The old saying beauty is in the eye of the beholder really applies to this place. When you first arrive one of the first things you see is tables upon tables of stuff. There really is not any particular organization just chaos. However if you are a true antique shopper, you should know that in this chaos you can find everything from great old clothing, furniture, jewelery, books, and even toys. Its a fun place to go to and you should plan on spending at least two hours if you are going here to get the full experience.
I have never seen so many books crammed into one place in my whole life. This place is so full of books there are even boxes of books on the floors in the aisles! For the most part the books are used and dusty. The owner is a great lady, very patient and will help you find what you are looking for!
This pharmacy is located right next to Western Missouri Medical Center (the hospital in Warrensburg). I have taken a few prescriptions here when either my regular pharmacy was closed or they didnt carry what I needed. This place has a small town feel to it. Friendly and informative. I loved that my wait time for my prescription was very low.
After 3 years of trying to find a doctor who could tell me how to get rid of a painfull ganglion cyst in my wrist, I was sent here. Dr Bear scheduled surgury for two weeks after he saw me and was very kind and understanding. He removed the cyst with no complications in an outpatient surgury and sent me home with a stuffed teddy bear! He was kind enough to explain everything to my husband and made sure my husband knew no lifting of streuous activity for my wrist. He was great!
This place does excellent work... I went here to have my wisdome teeth pulled after months upon months of pain. Three days after I had them pulled ended up with something called dry socket in two of the three teeth pulled. So I had to drive all the way back up there and pay even more to have the problem resolved. They didnt have a lot of compassion to the fact that I was broke I ended up having to post date two checks just to pay for one little visit.
The doctors in the emergency room here are excellent! They take the time to offer many suggestions and to listen to your ideas and thoughts on your care or the care of your loved ones. If you must go to the emergency room here, you usually will find that before you can sit down after checking in, you will be called to have whatever your problem is resolved.
Depending on what type of person you are this doctor can be very good. I took my son to see him when his asthma and allergies were not being resolved through his regular pediatrician. The doctor comes in to the room almost thirty minutes after my appointment was supposed to start scared the crud outta my son with his brash manor and sweeps out. He didnt bother taking the time to ask questions that I felt were important. After waiting another forty-five minutes the nurse comes in with a stack of prescriptions and send me off with no explanation. When I asked to speak with the doctor the reply was he is a very busy man. My feelings are that if doctors are such busy people then maybe they shouldnt see so many patients in a day in order to set aside more individual time for each patient.
My kids have been seeing Dr. Segal for almost 3 years now for their ears. Dr. Segal is so great with them and patient with even his littlest patients. The staff at ENT is excellent too! Inside the waiting area is a special waiting area for kids to play and run around with a giant house and toys for the kids.
Dutch Kountry Market is located just east of Knob Noster along highway 50. You will find an excellent assortment of your everyday spices and your rare spices fresh. You will also find a great selection of fresh baked breads, jam, jellies, butters, candies, and even pickled veggies and fruits. In the back of the store you will find that there is a very large furniture selection. My husband and I bought our King Size double Pillow top mattress here for a very good price of $200.00 brand new. They have a great selection of bedroom furniture, tables, kitchen hutches, and even desks. Youll find much more here too!
