We stayed here during a weekend away for a show at the Fox Theatre. The location is convenient to the theatre and easy to get to. I just was not that impressed with the hotel, the service or the accomodations for the amount of money that we spent. I really think I have had better experiences spening half as much.
Chateau Elan is such a fantastic place for a weekend away and is the perfect place to getaway and revitalize. The service is impeccable, the staff very attentive and the rooms immaculate. There were a few onsite activities to participate in, but my favorite is the spa. I have heard that the golf courses are amazing too.
Your Turn's first store was in Woodstock at Town Lake and it did fairly well. I always thought it was a little overpriced. They opened a second store at the Town Center Mall area and prices sky rocketed. The second store has since closed and the prices have remained too high at the original store
Prospectors Pouch sits on the right side of Highway 41 going north and you have probably driven by it a hundred times like I have thinking a small shop must be more expensive. Well, it is anything but more expensive, in fact with the customer service we received on a repair - then they advised a reset was less expensive, we have become big fans!
Parking is not the greatest in Downtown Acworth, but that's okay because we have a world-renowned artist in our midst. Spend just a few minutes in the Karg Gallery and you realize why Karg pieces are held in such high esteem. We enjoy looking and dreaming... can't afford any of these amazing glass sculptures. The prices are probably fairly reasonable...Just not the circles we move in.
Bulloch hall is not only historic and majestic but full of amazing history and the curators bring it back to amazing glory with every event. From wedding receptions to beautiful Christmas tea and historic events, Bulloch Hall is a majestic old beauty welcoming everyone to enjoy her with each new occasion.
Just when my faith in customer service was beginning to wain, we came upon this company and I am not so aggravated by my broken garage door anymore. The springs broke about 2 weeks ago and after waiting for an independent repair man who never bothered to show, I contacted the original installers of the door. Long story short, they worked us in and even came at 6:30 at night to get it taken care of and the repairman was so very nice!!!
Okay, so Centennial Park is fun all year through and we just happen to love, love, love their holiday activities. From the lights to the ice skating rink, the park is just lovely in the winter. We have taken our oldest to the skating rink and had so very much fun. The line for the rink was a little long but so worth the wait. Definitely a must do during winter break.
Cagle's has been around for years and their fall activities are the cornerstone of their popularity. The maize is so much fun for young and old. The dairy also offers the opportunity to learn how milk gets from the farm to the table. We saw other animals also and got a chance to feed a few too. The kids also got the chance to choose from plain or chocolate milk at the end of our tour.
We like to frequent the smaller theatre companies in Atlanta and 7 Stages and the Synchronicity Performance Group are the reason why. They are fresh and interesting, always willing to try something new or revive a classic. The theatre is small and intimate and allows for great interaction between the performers and the audience. A great time out!
