This place has good service for basic car maintenance and tires. Their waiting room is clean but they are right across the street from Collins Park and it is so much nicer to wait there or at the library while your car is being worked on.
They have decent prices but they usually also have coupons out, so look around before going in.
This is a very unique place. It is huge and carries such a large assortment of items at very good prices. I am always amazed at the selection of wood furniture they have.
They even carry a lot of unfinished furniture and you can chose to finish it yourself or pick a finish for them to put on it.
If you are not familiar to Albany and can be confusing to figure out how to get at it (even though you see it from the highway), but once you get there it has plenty of parking.
This place has a good selection of units. They are very basic but the building is very sound and never seems to have any water probems.
They also have a security gate where you are able to access your unit at any time but need to punch in your own individual code so they know who is coming and going.
Their rental rates are very competative.
This place has one of the best repations around. Dr Moirer is a fantastic dr and even deals with severe eye complications. They have a very nice selection of frames and glasses, all the latest technology, and a good turn around time for orders.
Maplewood/ Schenectady Ski School offers instructions to school kids during the week. They are very highly rated and are very popular in many districts. Each district is assigned a day of the week and they have contact people within the school for registration.
It gets very crowded but it is well organized and the kids really enjoy themselves and learn well. The instructor to student ratio is really good, especially in the beginning groups.
There is a snack bar there, but a lot of people bring their own snacks and themos of hot chocolate.
This is a huge store and they carry every type of furniture you can imagine. But, I was not at all impressed by their quality or their prices. If you really look at the quality of the workmanship you realize it is not going to last all that long but yet things are priced very high.
My advice would be to shop around.
This is a wonderful place to buy furniture! They have the nicest selection of sofas and chairs that I have seen. They carry all the name brands. But, because they are a factory store and they is no store mark up the prices are great.
My furniture came in a little earlier than they promised and the delivery men were so helpful and even helped me move my old furniture.
It seems each time we have used this dry cleaner they damage our clothes and/or loose the buttons. They press things crooked and leave puckers in them. I know several people who have had similar problems. They even lost clothes of one of my friends.
Their prices are low, but you obviously get what you pay for here.
I always go to Mayfair when I have need jewelry repair. Not only are they professional and experienced craftsmen, but they are honest. One 2 seperate occasions I took in pieces that I thought needed resized, but they showed me how I could take a link out myself without having to pay for service.
This is not a mall type jeweler. They really know their business.
I have been with this agency for over 15 yrs. The customer service is wonderful as well as the staff. It is always a nice office to visit.
The staff is very experienced, is always availible for questions and will even do anything they can to help you out with a claim.
When I first switched to them it was because their car insurance was less than I was paying elsewhere. Now all this time later I am still getting very competative rates but great customer svc in addition.
