Wal Mart
While it's hard to get a parking spot on the weekends, this store is much like most super wal-marts. the store is easy to navigate, the prices are great, and the lines aren't too bad. The only faults I see with it are the low selection of decent Plus Sized clothes and a cramped craft section.
Price Chopper
WOW! what can I say? This store is one of the best in the region. The selection is excellent, the layout is easy to navigate, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are decent, and the quality is superb.
Save A Lot
Compared to normal grocery stores, this shop is just horrid. The selection is dismal, the layout is crowded, and it's dirty. The only good thing about it is the prices, but to be honest, you get what you pay for.
Gino's Pizza
Nice people, good service, pizza is okay, and the ice cream is good. it's a little cramped inside, but the food is good. good prices, too. decent amount of parking.
Old Navy
I didn't like old navy in Vegas, because they didn't have plus sizes and the staff were rude. but when I moved here I thought I would check it out for clothes for my brother. Forget my brother! When I saw they had plus sizes and that they actually had my size, I was hooked! I like the layout, the staff are nice, and the prices are great.
Champlain Centres
For the area it's in, the mall is a decent size and caters to it's public. It's just too small for someone who came from a bigger city. Over all, it's okay. It has too many closed stores and not enough selection, but what is there is good.
Borders Books & Music
One of the things i liked about moving up to the area was that there was a major book chain in the region. If they don't have it they will order it. the staff is nice, the coffee is good, and the layout of the store works well.
Angelo's
There is a word floating around in the food industry called "food-gasm". I didn't think that was possible until we went to Angelo's and had the lobster ravoli. it was delicious!! the wait staff (save one or two) is wonderful, very sweet and personable.
A Aarons Chapel Of The Bells
My husband and I got married here. It was easy to schedule a time at short notice, and the staff was nice. The decor is a bit dated and the chapel is small, but if you want a typical vegas wedding it's a good choice.
Claylady Ceramic Arts
This shop has a great selection of pottery to paint and great prices. Parking is sometimes hard, but over all it's a nice little shop when you can find it.
