My expereince with Ridgeview Realty in Bullhead City, AZ was very satisfactory. Able Gonzalez was my realtor and he listened to my needs and showed me reale state within my budget.

He found a unit after I had left and called me right away with his recommendation as to just what I had been looking for, which I did wind up purchasing.

Canyon Trail Rv Park

Canyon Trails RV park is the most reasonable place for RVers to spend the winter or live year round.

They are friendly, clean and very helpful.

There is no pool, but they do have a club house, restrooms with showers, shuffle board and very friendly neighbors!

A great place at a great deal!

Central Market

Actually, Central Market is more than a neighborhood market, it is a full fledged grocery store and meeting place for Boulder City residents!

Being a privately owned store they have an excellent selection, great prices, weekly specials that can't be beat and offer Albertsons and Vons a run for their money.

They are located in downtown Boulder City just down from the Boulder Dam Hotel.

Henderson Hyundai Superstore

My experience with Henderson Hyundai Superstore was super! When I bought my new car I could not believe the experience. There was no 'sales pressure', I got exactly what I wanted for the price I wanted from a curtious and helpful salesperson named Efram.

And each time I take it in for it's regular service check ups and oil changes I am always treated in a friendly and curtious mannor. Plus, it never takes them long at all and I am back on the road.

I would highly recommend Henderson Hyundai Superstore and Hyundai automobiles in general. They are great cars and have the best waranty around!

Damons Glendale Steakhouse

What can I say, we have been going to Damon's since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. The reason why is excellent food, great service and consistancy. That is what has made Damons one of Glendales institutions.

Everyone goes there for their annual special occasions and as a treat night out!

There is now, after all these years, a new owner, but he is maintaining the quality and ambience everyone loves, so far.

Fiddlesticks

Fiddlesticks is Boulder City's very own unique quilting and sewing store. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful plus they offer classes for beginners and advanced quilters. They have an array of cute and clever items for sale for all the non-quilters, too.

A fun place to shop and look around.

Jax Bar & Grill

As others have noted, Jax is not what it used to be. They do have some outstanding salads though, if you can put up with the surly service and smell.

We usually try and sit in the booths up front by the bar where it is not so bad. If they would just get some decent servers we would go there more.

Hacienda Hotel & Casino

The Hacienda Hotel and Casino is on the outskirts of Boulder City. Every time I used to go there the place was vacant and the slots did not even give you a little play.

They combined the buffet and the restaurant into one room and I was very disappointed in their food every time I ate there. The service was OK in the restaurants, but the slot people were invisable.

Maybe they have changed, as I have not been there in quite some time, but from what I have heard it hasn't happened yet.

Grandma Daisy's Candy Parlor

Grandma Daisy's is an old time confectionary offering scrumptious home made fudge, hand dipped chocolates and ice cream as well as assorted candies of all types.

You can watch them make the fudge and hand dip carmel apples. They also have assorted bulk candies and novilties. Anything your sweet tooth desires, they have it!

If you have a sweet tooth you have to stop at Grandma Daisy's.

Boulder City-Hoover Dam Museum

The Boulder City Hoover Dam Museum is a must see for new residents and tourists alike. The pictures are fantastic and the story of building Hoover Dam is incredible.

It always amazes me how they were able to create such a magnificant structure back in the 1930's without the technology we have today. And not only build it, but bring the project in underbudget and ahead of schedule!
