World class, top notch facility located inside of the Boulevard mall. They specialize in laser treatments including tattoo removals amongst other treatments. The facility is beyond clean, it is marvelous. They counsel each individual privately. It is a very nice place to go for laser treatments.
CONS: Prices may be high for some
Nail artistry at it's best. Studio 702 has some of the best nail technicians in the Las Vegas area. They are professional and clean. It's a business ran by good professional but young people of color. Located on the "west-side".
PROS: good people good work
This store is huge! It's as big as a nightclub! They have everything you can ever imagine even an ADULTS ONLY section which holds some of the finest lingerie the world has ever seen. The entrance is set up as if you were at one of the fashion shows. It has huge replicas of the models and a few tvs to watch past fashion shows. Whatever you're looking for, it's here! A huge makeup section, night wear section, fragrance section..everything!
Oasis owns tons of properties within the Las Vegas/Henderson area. To me, they have nice apartments for reasonable rates. They provide tenants with a club house which includes a pool and sometimes an excercise area. I like Oasis apartments and wouldn't mind living in them.
PROS: Spacious and reasonably priced
Mark Twain apartments have been in Las Vegas for decades. The apartments are ok , the area they're located in is not that great but it's livable. Pricing is reasonable from what I've witnessed.
CONS: Small units
If you are new to the valley, here is a warning for you. Do not move into these apartments. They are located in a very bad area which is near the Boulevard Mall. They house some families through Section 8 who don't give a crap about how they live. It was a drug infested area and it probably still is. Not too sure if they have a bug problem anymore but I know the surroundings are not very pleasant.
PROS: Nice apartment arrangements
CONS: Not in a good neighborhood
Whatever beauty product you need can usually be found here. The warehouse lives up to it's name, a WAREHOUSE. It is pretty large. Larger than most supply stores. They have a ton of good priced and good quality products. Everything from hair care to hair and then some. Good place to go. Staff is nice also.
PROS: Prices, staff, selection
Great selection of alcohol. Ok staff, the place is smaller than the other store on Flamingo but it still fulfills everyone's needs the same way. The store is located further West so it may be a ways to drive for some. 15min from the Strip
PROS: Good liquor good prices
CONS: A ways away
House of Blues in Las Vegas is so nice! And so is their restaurant. The whole theme of the HOB is a New Orleans/Mississippi down South type. The food is better than great. It's out of this world. They have a variety of foods. It's not just Soul food that they offer but they also serve American food as well. I love the whole look of the HOB which is located in the Mandalay Bay hotel & casino. The concert venue area is one of the best. It offers stadium seating on the second floor, and on the main floor there is a huge open area which steps down from the bars which are located on both sides of the stage. See your favorite artists here, you won't be dissapointed.
PROS: Great concerts great food
CONS: no cameras allowed
LV Fashion Discount Mall has alot of nice stores with alot of nice products. But stay away from the nail salon in the back if they are still there. The girls did not do a good job with the exception of one who I will refer to as "L". She is professional and knows what she is doing. Other than that, the mall has everything from children's clothing to luggage etc. It is like a swap meet but a little bit better .
PROS: Good shops..cheap
CONS: A little dirty and crowded. Sellers talk you to death
