First, I want to recommend Shawn. She is FANTASTIC and knows what she is doing! This salon is small on the outside but is quite large inside. This salon also sells products to keep your hair healthy and looking nice. Prices are right in line with other salons in terms of product. Each person that rents out a chair at this salon charges their own prices. Make sure to ask whomever you choose. You pay the stylist for your cut and/or color or style but if you want product, you pay the salon.
It is located on Schoenherr, between McDonalds and Kohls. If you turn onto Southcove from Schoenherr, it is on your right in the small strip of businesses there. You can also come from Lakeside Mall and just take the street that surrounds Lakeside and find McDonalds and there it is. Parking is not a problem. Plenty of it but it is share with other businesses. You can walk to McDonalds for some lunch before your after your appointment or visit Lakeside Mall. Very nice location.
This store is located on Gratiot Avenue, just before you hit 16 Mile, or Metropolitan Parkway, as it is referred to. The parking lot is medum sized, although seems big enough for this store. There are a few other stores that share the lot but they are smaller and off to the right. This store is clean and busy. I like the selection of second hand clothes you can find, as well as the furniture. I like to buy secondhand wood furniture and have my husband refurnish it. I also like their sales for holidays. Usually, it is 50% off for holidays and sometimes its buy one, get one free! This store is packed when those sales take place! The people that work there are very nice and helpful. I rarely leave without finding SOMETHING that I like, whether I need it or not is another question! LOL Have fun!
when we were trying to decide where to take our ptets. They seemed nice enough. The doctor was helpful and even travels to homes to take care of pets, instead of having you bring the pet to him. I think that is a great choice. I'm sure you would pay a bit more but may be worth it to some. Prices were in line with other vets and parking is ample. We ended up not going to him because he was on the other side of the city for us. We chose someone closer.
Staff is very nice and knowledgeable. I have been there many times for my now deceased cats. Vets were very caring and nice, as was staff. The place was as clean as a vet hospital/clinic can be, I guess. It had that pet smell to it but that would be expected, I would think. There is overnight care provided here, too. Xrays can be done there and you can also buy pet supplies. Parking is adequate, too.
Subway has a great selection of different subs, and many are quite healthy, which I like. This store is small and so is the parking lot. I don't usually eat there, as it doesn't appeal to me to eat there. Not that clean when I have been in. I usually get mine to go. They also offer you a coupon to have punched and after so many purchases, you get a free sub. They sell water there, as well as pop and cookies and chips. Lines can get long at lunch so beware.
However, this store also offers hunters the opportunity to have their meat processed when they kill a deer during hunting season. Very unique, I think. You can visit for lunch or dinner and pick up pizza, chips, drinks, alcohol, lunchmeat, subs, almost anything. The parking is big but sometimes, especially during lunch, fills up fast. People that work there are busy and sometimes seem a bit to laid back OR uptight about their job. You can also get lottery tickets here and turn in bottles.
Lots of room in this restaurant, although can seem crowded around the all you can eat salad bar! Staff is pleasant and we are always seated right away, rarely a wait time. There is a bar to sit at and have a drink or eat, also. We like the crab legs and shrimp on the all you can eat menu but there are other things to choose from. Usually, we do NOT do dessert because we are too full! I don't even know what they offer for dessert! Parking is ample, also. Come hungry and NOT on a diet!
This store is located at 9 Mile and Harper, right next to I-94. It is clean and big and well lit. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. You can find many items here from back to school items, home office items, printing items, computers, to name just a few. Sign up for their Office Depot preferred card and save 10% off purchases AND get the school of your choice credit for your purchase. Office Depot honors competitors coupons, too, so bring those along! You can send and receive faxes here, as well as make copies yourself or leave for them to do. Parking is abundant.
When we can't find something at our local TRU, we shop here and almost always are able to find it. I don't know why but its true. This store follows all other TRU stores in terms of layout and pricing so no complaints about that. What I do complain about, however, is that staff isn't always the most helpful. Calling them ahead of time to see if something is in stock before you make the trip is useless because I don't think they even check. I think you are placed on hold for a minute and they return saying it isn't in stock. I say this because 3 times I have called, been told this, and made the trip only to discover the item there. I don't bother calling anymore. Very frustrating. Parking isn't a problem but employees can be.
This store is located inside Macomb Mall, pretty much next to Old Navy. The store is clean and well lit. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Dressing rooms are also clean and big enough. The sales, though, are terrific! I used to utilize this shop when I was pregnant and really liked all the styles offered. They were pretty but not "old" looking. You can find pajamas, underwear, hosiery, bras, pants, shorts, tops, dresses, coats, anything maternity. Parking is plentiful, since this is inside a mall.
