Museum Of Science & Industry
My niece and I went to this museum and had a blast. She is very much into knowing how things work and why. They had many different exhibits for her to explore. They also have an IMAX movie theater which show some great movies. Would recommend. One of the coolest exhibits is the hurricane room. You can sit in a room that blows air at hurricane force speed. Very cool
Lowery Park Zoo
We took the whole family and had a blast! They had many exhibits and areas of interest to children. The animals are well cared for and they have a good variety of species. They also have a water area where children can cool off from the hot Florida weather. Will returning again and frequently. The kids liked to ride the camel the most.
Mister Car Wash
I have take my cars to this car washes several times and have always been satisfied with the results. They have cleaned the cars completely and if there were any problems, it was resolved immediately. The only real issue I have is the long wait time, usually 20 to 30 minutes. I think service would improve if they were to hire more staff. Overall, acceptable service.
Florida Aquarium
We have taken the family several times and enjoyed ourselves completely. The have lots of different exhibits and animals. A little crowded but overall a great time. They have a water area for the kids to play in and cool off from the hot Florida sun. Would go again. Their prices are a little on the high side, but you can usually find some coupons in the local newspaper.
Sharpley Kip - Thomas Yoho & Assoc
We took many of the students from the boarding schools where I work to DR Yoho and it was a terrible experience. They would keep us waiting for hours, literally, in the waiting and then again once we were called back to the exam room. Once the exam was completed, they kept bringing us back for multiple appointments when the work could have been done in one visit instead of the 4 they normally required. The staff was not very "kid friendly". I would not recommend this dentist!
Lloyd's Auto Glass
I called and made an appointment to get my windshield replaced. I was given a 4 hour window for the following day. I waited until a half hour past the end time they told me. I was told that the tech was running late and would be there in the next half an hour. I told them I had to be somewhere in an hour. This was not enough time to replace the glass or anything. I wasted 4 hours of my day off for nothing and am still driving around with a cracked windshield. Very poor service!
Second Opinion Home Inspection
We are in the process of building a home and hired a building inspector to make sure things were completed appropriately. Bob is our inspector and we are very happy with his service. He explained the whole process to us and walked us through what to expect. He is easy to contact and is available via cell phone to answer any questions or discuss any issues that that come up. He has gone out to the house more often than required. Will recommend to friends.
National Health Insurance Agencies Incorporated
We needed health insurance and referred to Gene by our homeowners insurance agent. Gene met with us to discuss our health insurance needs. He walked us through the whole underwriting process. He made it easy and convenient. When I have any questions or issues, Gene promptly returns phone calls and is very knowledgeable about all the issues involved.
Spun Gold Jewelers
We have used Spun Gold for all our jewelry needs. We first went there when we were engagement ring shopping. Their staff was very helpful and explained everything to us. We were able to design the ring we wanted and they were able to produce it. We have been back to purchase watches, necklaces and a tennis bracelet and have been pleased with all of our purchases. I also take my rings in to be cleaned periodically and they clean them very quickly as well as checking the stones to make sure they are secure
DCF Landscape Services
I contacted this company several times before they would even call me back. Once they finally did, they came out to give me the free estimate. Now, granted, my yard was in really desperate need of help and it was a going to be a huge job, so I knew that it was going to be expensive. They came out and looked at the yard and told me that they had left the invoices in the other truck and would drop off the written estimate that afternoon. They never showed and I never heard from them again. I waited a week for them to get back with me. Never again!
