Victor N. De Los Santos, DDS
Dr. De Los Santos is our family dentist. His office is clean and the staff are very professional. I have been an ongoing patient for several years and Dr. De Los Santos has treated me for everything from routine cleanings to extractions.
His office is not equipped to deal with more complex procedures such as difficult root canals or oral surgery.
Los Altos Dental
Los Altos Dental is a typical dentists office. The receptionist and staff were courteous and the dentists are proficient at what they do but they are somewhat lacking in a "chair-side" manner. Walk in appoinments are accepted as well as scheduled appointments. My problem was that they did not take my insurance coverage, so I had to pay for my services out of pocket. The cost was pretty high because of the kind of work I had done. Overall, the experience was acceptable for a local dentist.
Continental Cleaners
Continental Cleaners is a regular dry cleaning store. The cost for pants and shirts are comparable to other dry cleaners. The clerk was not very talkative until I mentioned that there was some staining on a pair of my work pants. He said it was a result of the cleaning. He did apologize and cleaned the item again at no charge. Overall, other cleaners in my area do a similar job so it is not worth the time and extra distance for me to come here.
The Grand
The Grand is a small convention center and it has most of the ammenities and facilities of the larger, more well known centers. The staff is professional and courteous. My buisness held last year's Christmas Party at the Grand and the experience was enjoyable. We will be holding our celebration there again this year. The cost to rent the hall depends on the time of year and the number of people that will be expected to attend but planning is necessary to ensure that the hall is available when you need it.
Flower Dome
The Flower Dome is an interesting little shop in that the building is dome shaped. The unusual design draws you into the store. In spite of it's small size, there is a big selection of flowers available and the friendly and helpful staff can make almost any style bouquet that may be needed. The cost depends on the type of flowers used and custom orders are slightly more depending on the complexity of the arrangement.
Out Of The Closet
Out of the Closet offers quality clothing at very reasonable prices. The clothes are used but are in generally excellent condition. You are also able to find new items mixed in. The prices are reasonable, depending on what you buy, and the selection is quite good. The staff is professional and friendly.
Pino Fino Furniture
Tiempo Furniture is a fantastic store if you are searching for hard to find wood furniture. They have a large supply of desks, cabinets and even neat unusual items like a four posted dog bed. The wood furniture is hand crafted and the quality shows. The prices are a little higher but the quality and durability makes up the difference.
Eaton's Golf Shop
Eaton's Golf center is the only place you need to stop for new golf gear and repairs for your older gear. They offer one day club repair and they deliver on that promise. The store has a well supplied pro shop and carries equipment from most of the major manufacturers, including Mezuno and Cobra. The staff is well informed about the game of golf and is willing to help out everyone from the experienced professional to the up and coming beginner.
All Cities Animal Hospital
Sunny Hills Animal Hospital has a clean facility and a professional and helpful staff. They provide excellent care for the pets and are very sympathetic to the various states the pets owners may be in. The cost for care is dependant on the type of treatment your pet requires. Overall, the care my pets received was excellent.
Ward Furniture
Ward's Furniture is located in a small retail center but has a large selection of furniture. Some of the items are in excellent condition but also have the highest prices. As the prices come down, the quality decreases as well. Some of the furniture show signs of damage and partial repairs. The staff was friendly enough but the person who tried to assist me spoke very little english. Although the store has a large supply of furniture, it is placed where ever it would fit as opposed to being placed with similar pieces. This makes it difficult if you are trying to locate a specific type or piece of furniture.
