When I have a project to do that I need some help or advice on I like going to this True Value Hardware. They have a good selection of products. The people working there are always friendly, curteous and professional. You are going to pay more than at a Home Depot or a Lowes, but the customer service here is so much better.
After all the junk toys we've seemed to have collected for our daughter we have become much more picky about what we buy for her. That's why we are so grateful for this toy store. They have a wonderful selection of good quality and educational toys. The store is beautiful and our daughter loves going in here to play. The employees are always helpful and friendly.
I really wish we had as good of experience here as some of the reviewers. They do have a good selection of bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dresses. We ordered our bridesmaids gown about 6 months in advance after checking back in a few months later we were told the order wasn't placed. They were sorry blablabla and they would place the order again. Another month goes by, we check back again and they still hadn't ordered the gowns--our credit card had been charged months back. At that point they said we would have to place a rush order on it and it would cost of more money. We cancelled the order and went somewhere else.
If you are looking for some cheap items at a cheap price this is the place for you. Most of the items in here are knock offs, or if they are brand name they are outdated products. If you are buying food items always check the expiration date because I've seen so much expired food here. They have a good selection of cleaning items.
Emporium has had a tough time keeping up with all the bigger (and I think better) department stores out there. The selection here isn't anything special. The prices aren't any better than other places and in most cases are more expensive. The customer service here is awful--last time I was in I left frustrated at not being able to find someone to ring me up after waiting at the counter for over 10 minutes.
This poor mall used to be so much better, or maybe it just seemed better when I was a kid. The selection of stores isn't good. Their big anchor department stores aren't anything you'd want to go their for. It just seems like an old mall. They did add an old navy a few years ago and that makes it a bit better, but it still seems seperate from the mall.
Gi Joes has a great selection of sporting goods and equipment. They have a really good selection of fishing supplies and a really good selection of paint ball equipment. I really like their yearly big tent sale. You can find some awesome deals then. They also have a good selection of boots and footwear. I really enjoy going here.
Many bowling alleys seem to be dingy, smoke filled and just not family friendly. I like going here because it's smoke free (which anyone with a child or just anyone who can't stand the smell of smoke will totally appreciate) and because the prices are really good--much better than most places. It a great place to go for a fun family activity.
Big lots has a great selection of the unexpected. They are always getting in new products. I like to go here to check out arts and craft supplies for my daughter. They also have a good selection of household products, gift type items, and so much more. You don't come here for the customer service--the few times I've asked for help I felt it was pretty lacking.
I'm glad that their are places like hot topic. When you are looking for something a little funky or for a gift for someone who likes what they sell (a lot of punk type clothings and funky collectable type items) then this is the place to go. They are always packed full of merchandise so it can be hard to get around in here. The prices are decent.
