I recently needed a new stereo after my old one broke so I went to Phase 4 Stereo & Electronics. They have a decent sized collection of merchandise and they allowed me all the time I wanted to browse the shelves. I eventually found what I wanted and ended up buying it. The price was decent. What I didn't like about the store was that it seemed somewhat disorganized. I felt like I had to search through a maze to find what I wanted. I did eventually find it though.
My nephew wanted a new board for his birthday and I had no idea what to get. So I went to the Five O Skate Shop and asked them to give me a crash course on skateboards. They did and I left feeling a little more in touch with my nephew's world. I got a skateboard that he loved. But when I purchased it I didn't feel at all pressured. They could have steered me toward the most expensive boards but they didn't. They gave me all of the information I needed to make an informed decision. I like that -- I don't want to feel pressured! If the need ever arises, I'll go back!
Not many people have their shoes repaired anymore. We all just buy new ones. But for those of us that want to simply repair that favorite pair of shoes, this is the place to go. They had my shoes finished when they said they would and the work has held up wonderfully. They are an old fashioned shop where the pace is a little slower -- not the run as fast as you can environment that a large chunk of the world is stuck in. I am very satisfied with my experience with them.
This shop has a wide variety of merchandise for the home -- fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, appliances, etc. I love my tub that we bought there and I liked the service we received when we bought it. The only negative thing I would have to say is that they are a little bit expensive. If you're on a tight budget (like we are) it's hard to justify spending that much. (Of course, as you can see, that didn't stop us!) What you're paying for is a little better quality, which is always a good thing. I will go back at some point.
This is a little hometown music shop. They sell, rent, buy and repair instruments. They have miscellaneous music related items -- figurines, knick-knacks, calendars, notepads, etc. At times they also have older instruments (both working and not working) that a collector might like. They really do have quite a variety. The place is small though so you won't find that brand new top of the line instrument. The owner is willing to order anything you need too - sheet music included. It's a nice little shop.
Last Christmas we bought my 94 year old grandmother a computer. She has faithfully used an old typewriter her whole life but she was silently interested in a computer. She never would have gotten one for herself so the family all pitched in. She was starting literally from the point of not knowing how to turn it on. The people at Bytesize Help were so incredibly patient with her, teaching her all of the basics. They went through everything she needed to know but at the same time they left out anything that may have confused her. They were very patient and thorough and now she's an email and internet surfing pro. We were all so thankful for their time and we're so proud of her for learning! I would go back with no hesitation.
This is a fabulous catering company. The have a variety of menus to choose from ranging from upscale dining to good old fashioned home cooking. They will do what you want. I like this company because they are next door neighbor type of people. They started the company from one or two customers and built it into a thriving catering business but they still value each customer as an individual. I have had great success with them.
I moved into a new house recently and the carpets were in desperate need of a good cleaning. I didnt want to think of what had been ground into all of the carpets. Crystal Clean came a few days after I called and clean all of the carpets in the house and they looked great! Sometimes a few months after you have carpets cleaned they start looking dingy again because the stains "resurface" but these still look great. No stains have reappeared. I'm very happy with the work.
I have taken my car to this detail center for years and have been quite satisfied with their work. My car looks new when they finish with it. I once had a gallon of paint spill in the back seat. It was everywhere. I took it to White Glove and, even though there was a line of cars waiting, the folks there took my car right then and got all of the paint out. It looks like it never happened. I've always liked the people and the atmosphere at White Glove.
I like this company very much. The appraisal process can be made very unpleasant by an inexperienced or uninformed appraisal company. This company is neither of those things. They were very efficient, they obviously knew what they were doing and their years of experience showed. I have used them several times in the past and have always walked away with the same opinion of them. I cant think of anything negative!
