Flower Outlet

Emeryville, CA Florists 10/19/05: 'Not Outlet Prices'

The Flower Outlet is okay. They have a great selection of flowers but their prices are not what you would expect when you hear the word outlet. The staff are very friendly though and I sometimes go here to pick up some bouquets of flowers when I am in the area but I wouldnt make a special trip to buy their flowers.

Coliseum Flea Market

Oakland, CA Flea Markets & Swap Meets 10/19/05: 'Coliseum Flea Market'

The Coliseum Flea Market is located by the Oakland Coliseum and is right off the freeway. They have a parking lot and they do have an admission fee. I have only been here once but they do have a lot of vendors selling mostly old items. There are some vendors though selling new things like one lady that was selling new Gymboree clothing.

Farmer's Market

San Francisco, CA Grocery Stores 10/19/05: 'Farmers Market'

This farmers market is really quite large with it's own private parking lot and stalls for the vendors. On Saturdays they have vendors that sell a wide variety of fresh produce as well as eggs, honey and plants. I think on Sundays they now have vendors that sell used items like in a swap meet. Parking is difficult though because the place gets really crowded.

Northern Ca Swap Meets Inc

I have only gone to the Norcal Swap Meet once when my sister took me along with her. They have a parking lot on the side and they also have an admission fee. They have many vendors selling a large variety of items from clothing to knick knacks for the home. There are some good deals if you take the time to look.

Berkeley Flea Market

The Berkeley Flea Market is fun to go to. They have a great selection of vendors and usually different each time I go. They have some neat antiques, jewelry, clothing and food. Parking is difficult to come by though in this area of Berkeley but the place is within walking distance from the BART station.

Sommersville Towne Ctr Info

Antioch, CA Shopping Centers & Malls 10/19/05: 'Sommersville Towne Center'

The Sommersville Towne Center is a very small mall located right off the freeway. This one story mall has a Gottchalk's department store which I have never heard of until I started shopping at this mall. They also have a new Macy's which is comparatively smaller than the one in Sunvalley.

Sunvalley Mall

Concord, CA Shopping Centers & Malls 10/19/05: 'Sunvalley Mall'

Sunvalley is one of my favorite malls to shop at. They have a great selection of stores available as well as eateries that I like. I also like the fact that they have a parking garage where I can park my car on the bottom level and my car is shaded from the hot sun during the summer and I don't get wet heading in the mall during a rainy day.

Hilltop Mall

San Pablo, CA Shopping Centers & Malls 10/19/05: 'Hilltop Mall'

I hardly go to the Hilltop Mall anymore even when I lived nearby. The place has really gone down in quality as far as the type of stores that are in business there. A lot of the clothing stores look like they are selling flea market quality clothing. Macy's is the only store worth going to there. Also, the area has become a bit unsafe to me.

Stoneridge Mall

Pleasanton, CA Shopping Centers & Malls 10/19/05: 'Stoneridge Mall'

I don't go to the Stoneridge Mall that often because it is a bit far from where I live but I love shopping there because they have so many stores to choose from. They even have a Pottery Barn in there. The only downside is that it does get really crowded and I sometimes have to park a bit far from the entrance doors on the weekends.

World Nails

Pleasanton, CA Nail Salons 10/19/05: 'World Nails'

I found World Nails while shopping at the Stoneridge mall in Pleasanton. They are located on the first floor near JCPenney. They have a pretty modern decor with plush leather seating against the walls for pedicures and cushioned seating in the middle of the floor for manicures. They service is great and so are their manicures. They are always quite busy on the weekends.
