i am soo used to these places telling me how i need a tune-up right after i've gotten one..or my transmission flushed..right after i've gotten one.. so i was really surprised when the only suggestion they made was a new air filter. honesty is scary at these types of places. i really thought they must have had sunstroke. decent price..quick service. freindly and honest.. wow.. it doesn;t seem possible
allure nails
a freind of mine used to go here years ago. one day she decided to treat me for my b-day and take me here for a pedicure. she got a manicure and a pedicure. my girl was wonderful. my friend however was done by the owner of the place. her pedicure was fine, but when it came to the manicure..ugh!
my friend wanted and paid for french tips.. she got standard acrylic..the girl did a french tip as that was the fastest and easiest and she wanted to go early to pick her child up from school. my freind got mistreated in my opinion...we have never gone back
Attractive Nails
my brother and my girlfreind both go here. parking could be alittle better as it is park of a very small mini mall, but the people are sooo nice. the prices are standard and the quality is excellent. i have yet to hear a complaint. it's clean, the pedicures are good and my freind loves the manicures.
Play It Again Sports
parking is always a breeze, and even though i haven't purchased anything in awhile from here, it's still a good place to visit. i generally check the prices, and usually find they are a wee bit better here than most other discount stores. i still look around, but generally i end up buying here.
Joey's Pizza
My friend and i used to love this place. it's not the most convenient location, but there's always plenty of parking. very much a hole in the wall type of place. a few years ago they were bought out and they now absolutely cannot make that wonderful garlic pizza they used to have. we've tried to explain how it was made at several of the locations and each one yielded a less that adequate pizza (they charged a lot for it as well).. stick with the pepperoni and the chicken fingers(not like kfc..these are not as crispy and very seasoned)
La Barta 99 Cent Store
the parking was nice and easy and they had quite a few good little deals. i pucked up a few dollar flip flops and some hair scrunchies. it's a good way to save money on little odds and ends.
Petland
my friend and i go here regularly so that she can buy odds and ends for her many pets. it is a small store so the staff gets to know you. generally they have a good supply of pet needs.. prices are pretty good.. sometimes more and sometimes less that petco. but it;s a convenient location. right next to vons, so the parking is great
Capezio Dance Theatre Shop
i took my son here to get some stuff for a dance class. they were very freindly and worked with us when my son refused to try on shoes in the store.. also took the shoes back with no questions asked when he dropped out of the class on the first day.. easy parking. freindly staff
desert breeze community center
we went here for a few weeks this summer.. there are lots of different fun classes that are relatively inexpensive and small.. dance classes for kids and a community pool..lots of parking.
Jersey Mike's Subs
it was the grand opening week so a few freinds and i decided to give it a try.. the parking was little tight but acceptable.. the place was clean and looked nice, but the staff seemed a little out there.. ordered subs but the staff didn't ask us if we wanted drinks or anything else.. just rang up the subs and gave us a total..very odd.. pricey but the subs were good
