Century 20 Daly City
Century 20 is a really big movie theater near Serramonte mall in Daly City. They have 20 screens so they can show many popular, current movies at one screening time. They also have an arcade section on each floor for customers to play while waiting for a movie to begin. The food is a bit pricey but the tickets are still okay compared to other movie theaters.
Malibu Castle
Malibu Castle is a fun place for friends or the whole family. They have lots of arcade games, miniature golf, grand prix racing go karts, as well as bumper boats and batting cages. For the summer, you can play unlimited gokart and miniture golf for $10 a person after 5 pm.
Foot Locker
Foot Locker is a good shoes store to shop for younger adults. They have a great selection of athletic and casual shoes and the service is really good. The also have promotions on their shoes which makes the purchase a real good deal.
Rave
Rave is a clothing store directly towards young teenage girls. They have lots of fashionable clothing for the very hip and trendy middle and high schooler. The clothes are on the cheaper side and they constantly have new itesm coming in.
Banana Republic
Banana Republic is a store for working individuals who like to dress classy and trendy at the same time. They have a big selection of work and relax clothing and the service is usually pretty nice. The clothing is pricey but the material is also pretty good.
Sway
Sway is a local boutique-like store in Berkeley that features women's clothing. This place is very hip and trendy and prices might be a bit higher than other clothing chain stores but the service is great and shopping is very comfortable. They have a lot of cute and unique items there so definitely check it out!
Joys Sportswear
Joy's is a relatively small store in Berkeley but it sells a lot of campus wear for cheap! And they have custom engraving too and that's perfect for birthday gifts. A lot of the items are decently priced and they have a lot of sales on their tshirts. They have a good selection of baseball hats/caps too!
Hot Topic
Despite its scary and dark appearance, this store is actually a lot of fun to shop in. They feature a lot of cute cartoon characters and usually has cool stuff on the sales rack. The service is also really friendly. Check out the jewelry selection too...you can find lots of cool and unique items there!
Serra Bowl
This bowling alley is one of the most popular in the area because it is really large and has pretty good deals. Some nights, they even have karaoke night and customers can sing their favorite songs for free! Besides bowling, there are arcade games and pool tables for cheap. Definitely a fun hang out place!
McDonalds
McDonalds used to be so good and cheap when I was younger but now that I've had much better selections, McDonalds just seem disgusting. Still, this place has pretty good service and the fact that you can get a happy meal for the kids for cheap is really good too. McDonalds is defintely a kids' food place and always will be. BUt, the one dollar hot fudge sundae is pretty good!
