This is a cleaning company that comes in and cleans your home or office and they do everything. They clean the toilets, the floors, vacuum, pick up toys, you get the idea. They are trustworthy and reasonably priced for the service you receive. If you dont' like to clean or just ned help doing those types of things because of a busy schedule, this is a good place to call.
Other than the recent gang action going on at the mall, I like shopping here. We try to stay away on the weekends because that's when most of the problems occur. As far as the stores that are there, it's better than the Wilson mall by far, but they have still lost a lot of their stores, like Kay-Bee, the toy store, and the Dollar Tree. There are a few more that moved out, too, but you still have a few good places still to shop for right now. It's just an okay mall for me, but it would be better if there was not so much problem concerning the gangs.
This is Christian store that sells all sorts of Christian supplies and gifts, from Sunday School literature to Bibles. They have books for all ages and they carry framed artwork. They also have a nice line of accompaniment music. They have a children's section, which has a lot of educational materials as well as videos and toys.
If you want to look like a country boy, this is place for you! They have they western clothes, boots galore, and cowboy hats. They carry a lot of leather, too. They carry men's women's and children's. Any other western accessories that you can think of, they've got them too, belt buckles, belts, jewelry, pocketbooks, wallets, etc. Trust me, if country western is your style, this is the place to go.
I like going in and looking around, but I rarely ever buy from here because the prices are kinda steep. The novelty buttons and ribbons are high and you can get some of the same fabrics from Wal-Mart for less than half of their price. Although they do have some prints you can't find at other places, it's hard for me to justify spending so much on fabric. They do however have some of the most top of the line sewing machines around! Still worth stopping in, I just can't afford it myself.
This is a nice little country store where you can get your basic necessities without having to go all the way into town to the grocery store. He's always got cold drinks, prepacked sandwiches, sweet and salty snacks, gas, etc. You always get treated like a valued customer. This is a family owned and operated business.
This is not my favorite place to shop. I caught a little sense of "goody-goody" when I shopped there last and probably won't go back. Lots of times when I shop, I go dressed in comfort because I spend all day shopping when I'm in the mood and I want to be comfortable, which usually consists of sweats or some capris and a t-shirt. I felt like I was not welcome in the store and felt as if the clerk thought I wasn't able to afford shopping there. On the contrary, she's the one who was working, while I was out shopping my heart out! I , of course, left and went to the Red Caboose and made my purchases that day and was treated like I should have been at Bundles of Joy, like a customer who had money to spend.
This is my favorite children's clothing boutique. They carry all the top quality and top name brands out there for kids. They have Lilly Pulitzer, Zoodles, Mis-Tee-V-Us, etc. They are expensive, which is typical of these children's boutiques, but the sales they have give you the opportunity to save a ton. I hope they do it again next year, but I went when they had a buy one get two free sale. Plus at the end of the season they mark some of the stuff down to 75% off.
I like to shop here because I can visit the surrounding stores while I'm there in town. Jody's is a little consignment store that carries children's as well as some women clothes. They are right beside a thrift shop and there's a Super 10 just down on the othe side. She runs color-tag sales it seems like all the time and that's when you find your best bargains.
Not really crazy about this place because the people who work here just aren't all that friendly. I don't really find it healthy for the small animals that they do sell and the people's pets that they groom, for the folks who work there to be smoking around them. The selection of merchandise is kinda slim and kinda pricey considering you've got Wal-Mart right around the corner. I mean I know it's hard to compete with Wal-Mart's prices, but some of their mark-up is rediculous.
