Great hair designers and fab facials- along with string brow design & mani/pedi to blow your mind! This salon on Merrick Road makes you forget you are in busy Seaford and feel oh so relaxed! The owners are wonderfully accomodating and you feel welcome- no arrogant airs or snobby put ons this is the real deal! What I love best- there aren't 10 different people working on you- your designer cuts and blows your hair so you feel that time was made for you.
Personal favorite and great for curly & wavy hair- Lynda Stanley!
PROS: fabulous people, talented staff and a truly relaxing experience
CONS: they've done so well they almost need a bigger salon!
Traveled far to get here? Seems to be a cult following for Briermere, once the land of great produce and fresh pies.
Ce la vie to those days. The pies are mediocre at best, although service remains friendly. This place is clean which is plus. If you're passing by Briermere it is worth the stop. But don't go out of your way to get here.
CONS: poor pie
The store is easy to get around but the check out is slow!! You seriously need to allow 20-25 minutes minimum on line, assuming there are no more than 3 people ahead of you. Be prepared for the person checking you out to be on their cell phone, talking to a friend on the other line or just talking to another employee. The children's photography could use a few more "happy" people who realize it takes a little time to take a good picture.
Target could use a lesson in good service!
PROS: all your shopping needs in one location, good prices
CONS: poor service, slow lines
This store is small- and being small inventory doesn't seem to turn over that quick. They have a nice selection, although you need to look at expirations. They offer information based on testimonial and internet knowledge rather than research and data, although they do try the infomration has been incorrect on more than one occassion. If you know what you need, go in and find it but don't ask a lot of questions because you may wind up taking a supplement contraindicated on your medications!
CONS: limited inventory, poor knowledge base
This spot has got it all together- great classes, lots of ppatience, wonderful machines and great fabrics as well as ggreat people. Where else can you use machines on the weekend and receive PATIENT help? No question is too simple or difficult for this group and they are laways accomadating. Prices are very competetive and they sell everything you need foor sewing- including the machines! and they will train you on your machine.
Too bad the professionalism they offer is not reflected in more stores!
PROS: great service, selection and patience
CONS: haven't found one yet
Can we please pick up the pace! IF we could just stay off te cell phones and stop talking to our friends the service would be fab.
Very pleasant and the order is done correctly, just slow to get the line moving
PROS: Good high voltage coffee
CONS: expensive, slow service
Nothing new nothing special
basic Chinese food in a pretty setting (nice fish tanks)
watch out for your blood pressure- the salt would definately drive it up!
most items fried- seafood is expensive and does not taste the freshest
PROS: Basic Chinese food
CONS: basic Chinese food
What a wonderful experience! The romantic smell of flowers and beautiful bouquets are matched only by the wonderful woman who work there. Not knowing what I needed for my wedding these woman walked me through EVERYTHING and stayed in my budget- that's a first for a wedding! I have used them on multiple occassions since and have NEVER been disappointed- freshest flowers and most beautiful bouquets- both Judy and Joanne have talent unsurpassed by any florist I have every ordered from. They spend the time to find out what you really want and how to get it for you.
I think I'll go order another bouquet now!
PROS: FRESH flowers, BEAUTIFUL bouquets and GREAT people
Great pizzeria- healthy servings and pizza the way it was intended!
Fresh sauce smothered on a crust that's not too thick and not too thin and just the rigt amount of cheese- is it any wonder there are always people in here!
PROS: GREAT food, friendly family atmosphere
Gino's of Tuscany is a restuarant and pizzaria with great pizza and classic Tuscany dinner entrees.
Biggest problems: the noise level! wow can this place get loud, they must have no sound insulation. On a Fri or Sat night you could be shouting to be heard at your table. Service is decent, - although the bus boys are superb -> they really get those empty plates off your table.
Another problem: Gino's is touting "healthy" far, but must not have consuted a dietitian! These healthy fare have no guidelines and little rhyme or reason.
Fairly inexpensive- most entress are $13-17
PROS: Good food
CONS: noise, "healthy fare" - should have sought out a dietitian
