The food is O.K. but I think that anyone with seasoning salt, cornmeal, and oil can do this themselves! And you would probably save a bunch of money in the process.
PROS: It's usually not very full.
CONS: It's too pricey.
This is my all time favorite store in the world. I was so excited when they built this new one so close to my home. They have a great selection of books, magazines, and music. They even have journals, stationery and other miscellous items. They have a wonderful children's area, where the kids can sit and read and enjoy books. They also have storytime that my daughter loves! My only concern is I would love to see more books about children of color. Other than that, they have great discounts and the employees are very helpful and friendly.
PROS: Great Prices
CONS: If it's not mainstream, you'll probably have to order it.
If you are in the market for ethnic hair care products that are a litlle less mainstream this is not the place to go! You might as well save the gas and visit the other store in Pittsburg, CA.
I like this establishment because they gentlemen that work there are always so kind and helpful. They actually take the time to explain the problem to you if you don' t quite understand. The labor is very expensive, but I drive a 1997 Ford Escort and I promise you that this is the best it has driven since I purchased it. They can be quite pricey, but they do have coupons available.
PROS: Nice People, Coupons
CONS: Very crowded, Labor costs is killer
I have to admit that I have only visited this deli once, but first impressions are crucial! When I went, there were two young men working the counters, neither of which were very friendly. I ordered hot pastrami on white. Normally, I would watch and check to see if everything is done correctly, but this particular day, I had told them what I wanted and proceeded tend to my crying child. When I got home and bit into the sandwich it should have been called a hot onion sandwich! Their was literally one slice of meat the rest ONIONS! This sandwich was so poorly made that I ended up taking it back the next day! One of the same young men was there and told me that he didn't do it, but gave me my money back with a huff and a puff. Needless to say I have NEVER been back.
PROS: Affordable, with many different varies.
CONS: You have to watch and make sure it's done right.
