Jackson Park Place
I lived here for a year and a half. I loved the price and the layout of my 3-bedroom apartment. There were pools and a hot tub on site. Close to shopping and Herndon Ave.
Campus Cleaners
$2 for nearly every garment. Turnaround is only a few days and items come back fresh and pressed. Location is convienent if you live in the area. Recommended.
Asian Auto
I don't live in SLO anymore, and I haven't found a mechanic that comes close to Gary since I left. He knows Toyotas very well and is a very honest mechanic.
Park Highlands Apartments
I lived here for three years. The layout was good. Parking was ample and I felt safe living here. No gym or pool but a park nearby. Management was very easygoing.
Hampton Bay At The Lakes
I lived here for two years. I liked the layout was and I even had a washer/dryer hookup. Parking was always open and never felt unsafe. Close to the bus/shopping. Nice grounds with pool and gym.
Kentbrook Apartments
I lived here for one year in a studio. The layout was wonderful for a studio and I even had a washer/dryer hookup. Parking was ample and I felt safe living here. Close to the bus and shopping.
Executive Estates
I just signed a second year's lease and I can't believe I pay so little. The location is great, especially for UW students-- right on the bus lines and lose to I-5. You can walk to QFC, Starbucks, pizza, Burger King. There is an on-site gym and pools, and nice big inexpensive laundry facilities. I feel safe living here and maintenance responds quickly to any needs.
Gene Juarez Academy of Beauty
I have had my hair and nails done several times here. The waiting area is comfortable. The front desk staff is usually very busy. Students are personable and always offer coffee or water. Services take longer than they should, but good results at a great price. Parking is sparse.
Gene Juarez Northgate Academy
I got my nails done here. The location and parking was confusing, and I went on a very busy day and had to stand while waiting. The service is great for the price however, and although it took longer than a regular-price salon, I got a manicure at a good price.
American Eagles Hobby Shop
This store has a very comprehensive selection of model airplanes and everything you need to put them together. Prices are competitive. Only downside is hard-to-find parking on busy days.
