Lee?s Comics has a great selection of comics. The store also sells posters (you can find some pretty awesome Family Guy and The Simpsons posters here). The store is usually pretty empty, even though it is next to Costco. The prices here are standard. Parking can be a little difficult sometimes.
I think Anniki is one of the best boutiques in the area. They sell a wide selection of clothes of many different brands. My least favorite part about the store is that the dressing rooms don?t have mirrors. Some of the clothes they sell are relatively cheap, but most are expensive. I also like that the store is clean and spacious.
De Martini Orchard is a fantastic grocery store. Their produce is amazing and they have countless varieties of each type of fruit and vegetable. They also let you sample anything from apples to tomatoes, so grab a toothpick! Everybody that goes here loves this place, so I am sure you will too!
The stationary and cards at Birch are AMAZING. Sure, there isn?t a great selection of cards, but all of them are very artistic and of high quality. The store also has wedding invitations, baby announcements, photo albums, gift wrap, and journals. Everything they carry is from the best designers. I highly recommend this place.
The Runners High is a shoe store. The prices here are a little higher for some shoes than you can find online, but the exceptional service makes up for the price difference (for me, at least). This store has a lot of shoe brands that you can?t find at some of the bigger shoe stores. The clothing section is very impressive and returning items is a breeze here.
Mi Pueblo is a Mexican grocery store. They also have a take out window where you can order food. The tacos here are cheap and they taste amazing. If you are thinking of making Mexican food, go here to get all your ingredients. One of the (few) things I don?t like about this store is that many of the employees don?t speak much English, so it can be a little difficult if you need help looking for something.
Easy Foods Company is like a Chinese 7/11. Amongst the items they sell are Chinese snacks, lottery tickets, candy, fortune cookies, and tea cups. The owners of this store are friendly and helpful. The store is usually pretty empty, which is good because there is never a line at the register.
If you like vintage stuff, this is the place to go to. Plumeria has a bunch of t-shirts, jeans, jackets, polos, and even vintage suitcases. The stuff there definitely isn?t cheap, and don?t expect to pay less than $30 for a shirt. The store is usually pretty empty, but the staff regularly helps me find what I need.
Skateworks is your typical store for skating equipment. Parking is relatively easy considering that this store is so close to downtown. Skateworks is definitely not big, but it contains a variety of skating equipment like shoes and skateboards. The store gives sweet discounts, but usually everything costs the same as at any other skate store. The employees are helpful in telling you what parts to buy.
Mountain View Surplus is the place to go to if you?re looking for army or camping goods. This place sells camouflage, boots, camping gear, and even custom dog tags! Some people even get their Halloween costumes here, or so I?ve heard. Parking can be a bit of a hassle sometimes. The staff usually helps you find what you need.
