My grandchildren loved attending the Circus Circus Theme Park. We spent an afternoon of thrill seeking with our two grandsons, both under 9 years of age. They didn't go on any of the "scary" rides, but they really enjoyed the arcades games, and had the most fun in the baseball cage, where they perfected their baseball stance, and as a virtual ball is thrown, they get the opportunity to practice their swing. I think this is A-1 entertainment for kids of all ages. The grounds are well supervised and there is plenty of staff available to answer any and all questions.
Since arriving in Vegas, my husband and I have begun a new hobby- that is, we have attempted to visit every buffet in town. By far, we feel that the Hilton has the best presentation of foods, the cleanest environment, and the tastiest entrees. They offer a wide variety of foods, everything from salads, exotic fruits and cheeses, wine and beer with your meals, and a tempting selection of desserts for your after dining enjoyment. The shrimp is excellent, as are the meats, breads, and artichoke salad.
Bringing my new British husband into the United States has been one of the most challenging situations we have dealt with as a couple. The attorney of this office charges a great deal when compared to other attorneys in the same field of expertise, but we have gotten further with our goal of permanent residency with this law office than with any other attorney. I will say that the agent at the INS relayed to my husband and me, that the paperwork received from their office was not very well done. The agent indicated that there were many misspellings and mistakes on the forms submitted by the law offices. I realize that this is probably not due to any fault of the attorney, but rather it shows that some of his clerks need lessons in how to prepare the required forms. I can't hold it against the clerk though, since one needs to be a freaking rocket scientist in order to fill out the paperwork attached to an immigration case.
PROS: Nice offices, Great office manager.
CONS: Slow, Expensive
Dr. Drost is the best, most caring doctor in the world! My family and I have used his services for many years, and he has never let us down. He's seen us through many health issues with a patient, caring attitude.
PROS: Professional, competent
British Foods Inc. offers a wide range of foods and items which are imported from the U. K. My husband is British, and after we had been in Las Vegas for a year, he dreamed of a true cup of English tea. We were fortunate to hear about British Foods Inc. The store is neat and they make it easy to find your favorite foods and beverages. They also offer a range of attractive teapots, videos, and china sets for those that may be feeling homesick for English culture. Prices are high of course, due to all the merchandise having to be imported. English chocolate is in my opinion the best in the world, but you will pay a premium price for it at British Foods Inc. Also, some foodstuffs are only offered during the holiday season, and I was disappointed when we discovered that I would be unable to enjoy any English brown sugar until November. However, they due offer the major brands of English teas year around.
PROS: Neat, Cheerful Store
Dr. Clean is a first rate dry cleaners. I've taken all our dry cleanables here for about a year now. They do a very nice job cleaning and pressing my husbands dress shirts. They also have an alteration department on the premises. I have never used the alteration service, but I suspect it is a good one since everytime I go in there, someone is bringing apparel in for alterations. The staff is pleasant and courteous, and always try and have my items ready when I ask for them.
I've used Anderson Travel many times and have always received prompt, courteous service from a professional agent. Whenever I've had to plan a trip, my agent has always found the least expensive way of getting me where I want to go. The convenience factor of having an agent plan and book your trip is well worth the extra cost.
PROS: Neat, Tidy Office. Efficient Agents
When guests come to visit us during the summer months, they always want to visit Roaring Springs. It's a nice place for the family to congregate for a picnic, and there is something to satisfy every swimming level and ability. The lazy river is a relaxing way to enjoy the water, yet, there are others that prefer a wilder ride, so choose a more exciting ride instead. Summer passes are offered, and if your family is going to visit more than a few times during the summer, it's well worth the cost. Enjoy!
PROS: Clean Family Fun
Curriculum Cottage carries materials that address the needs of home schooled students. There isn't much of a selection for Secondary students, but they did have an adequate supply of Math, and Spelling workbooks for pre-school and elementary students.
Idaho Book offers a huge selection of school supplies. The walls and aisles are, for lack of a better word, littered with merchandise and instructional materials of every type and description. They have made a valient attempt to organize, but the real problem remains. They simply need more room.
PROS: Large Selection of Instructional Aids
CONS: Too Much Stuff in a Small Space
